“I purchased this vintage analog synth with the hopes of finding time to get it going again… alas no time for such fun so its time to move this wonderful sounding synth to someone who will love it. The face membrane has a crack in it which I believe is cosmetic ( see photos for details of scratches etc etc). The main issue is it powers up but makes no sound. There is a great tech in Boston that was the right hand man for A.R.P. himself who should be able to help anyone who buys this to get it going. I was always an ARP guy and loved the sounds of this.”

“This keyboard is in great condition especially cosmetically, it almost looks new. All sounds and functions work on it including the “touch sensor effects” however the keys and the sliders are very stiff and one slider is missing a cap. The stiffness is bad enough that it will need to be addressed so the price reflects this. Also when adjusting the volume sometimes the sound will go out but will come back once the slider is adjusted to the “right” spots. I had posted this earlier stating that it didn’t work in other ways but it turns out it works great I just had my headphones plugged into the wrong output. (Different outputs than I am used to, this thing is old school!)”

” Rare Arp 2601 Synthesizer. It’s time for it to be used to create music again! For many years, it was stored in a spare bedroom closet, and for years, I was going to have it restored and brought up to spec, but alas…, I ran out of time and interest… I did plug it in and turn it on… and all three oscillators generated tone, and they seemed fairly steady (no severe audible drift when tuned to A440 while on). However, I did not go through and test all of the functions and/or all the other modules.
“Original Arp Axe. Sonically Amazing and functionality, all working perfectly. Runs from 240V 3prong Aus power plug. On/Off light stays off now. Cosmetically there is a wood chipped on the top left panel, it seems that only the timber itself was damaged, and 2 slider coloured plastic covers are missing-pulse width mod and vcd freq. Always has been looked after and in great shape, although I bought a copy of the 12 page service manual online, it has cool info like calibration points, comes with it. Pickup, Packed well and shipped worldwide.”

“Vintage Arp Axxe Synthesizer
“This synth sounds amazing! Much better than the Korg Odyssey reissue, I compared them a/b, the reissue is great, but there is something in the tone of the original that is richer and more alive. I’ve used this synth for a ton of recordings, and it sounds amazing, rock solid tuning, keybed feels great, just a great piece of gear. Only selling because I bought some more expensive vintage gear. Light and easy to transport, comes with top cover plate for easy gigging. The sliders on this can be a little stiff, with minor scratchiness but really minor for a bit of gear this old, great condition. Only small issue is the pwm mod amount slider on one oscillator has the top of the slider broken off, but you can use a key or other small bit of metal to move it to your desired amount, I used it fine like this for all sorts of studio purposes, and if you’re gigging with it, just tie a spare key to the power cord so it’s always there for adjusting that one parameter.” 
“Arp Omni I — Original 1975-1978 classic string synth. Powers on. Keys feel pretty good, sliders are not too gummy, all push buttons depress correctly and the respective LEDs for those buttons light up. I was not able to get the unit to produce sound — only static produced from the low output”

“Fair overall condition. This item has signs of normal wear, some cosmetic blemishes and the external hardware has been replaced. Early rare 2800 ARP with low serial production number. This is an early Tonus inc. serial badge model. early 1972. Vintage factory expansion jack kit installed. This one has had extensive professional service including control panel cleaning, recap, opamps and ics have been replaced and placed into sockets, and it’s had it’s power supply rebuilt with premium caps. New keyboard bushings. It has a new set of all black slider caps installed. Fantastic playing early vintage arp. There is a vintage anvil road-case included with this synthesizer. ” 
“This is an ARP Quartet made by Siel. The power button case is broken but it works. The Solo switch is broken and is disengaged. One key is not functioning. All items are labeled. Some of the sliders are scratchy sounding. Other than that the unit sounds pretty good. It will be packaged safely for shipping.” 
“I replaced over 60 capacitors personally in 2017, and the previous owner recapped the entire synth about in 2008.
“For sale is a vintage and rare ARP QUADRA. Cosmetically it’s in very good shape. SEE PHOTOS I think it looks absolutely amazing. The graphics are crisp and very little signs of use all around. There are some areas where the black paint is missing/scratched off along the top back edge where the hinge is. The sides have signs of wear along the edges but are mostly along the back edge. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION AND PAINT ISSUES. Functionally there are no known issues with the unit, however I am not an expert. The unit powers on, all keys trigger properly, only the sliders in the Phase Shifter / Output Mixer section have been replaced and do not have the knobs/tops on them. All other sliders and panel switches also appear to work properly. The two sliders in the Porta-Mento section are missing knobs/tops. All the touch switches and LEDS function properly. I have played it out the MONO OUT 1/4″ jack sound output however I have not played it out the other outputs. + owner’s manual”
