“YAMAHA TX7 FM Expander & Tone Generator, For DX7 Keyboard

I am selling this on behalf of a friend – I have tested its functionality as far as I can (I do not have a DX7 keyboard, but all of the preset sounds responded as they should to a generic keyboard on the MIDI input), and the function buttons all bring up the relevant function on the display.

The case is in good condition, with no cracks – there is one missing screw, as the internal plastic moulding that it screws into has broken off, but this does not affect the integrity of the case.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Yamaha TX7 Synth Module

Great way to have all those killer DX7, 6-operator sounds in a smaller, portable module. Excellent + condition. Super clean condition for its age with no breaks or cracks in the case. This is a USA 120v version, not a Japanese 100V version. Beware of other listings from outside the USA.

These are getting harder-to-find, especially in this condition. No smells or anything weird. Unit works perfectly, battery is good and keeps patches and settings – no issues. Has the latest 1.4 OS. I will include a disk with hundreds of additional DX/TX patches to try out! ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“80s ‘DX7 in a box’ by Yamaha.
Midi control from any keyboard, extensive DX7 libraries can be loaded if you have have access.
The various digital/ modelling clones now available sound good but never quite the same…
Cosmetically challenged but all works ok.
Power lead joined so may need attention.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

” YAMAHA TX7 FM Expander Tone Generator Sound Module Synthesizer

I’ve upgraded the screen with the CP Magnetic Media screen so you can see what it says on the screen in low light. The original screen is included along with the link to the instructions should you want to return it to it’s original condition.

Some scuffs and scrapes to the case etc.

Power lead has been extended at some point before I got hold of it.

Tested with midi and works fine. I’ve used DeXeD to load some sounds on to it with no problems (I recommend you get the free DeXeD software for editing and loading sounds).” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“YAMAHA TX7 Vintage FM Tone Generator MIDI Module – Looks Decent – Sounds Great!. The unit is over 35 years old and has a few scratches and scuffs here and there, but considering the age and the thousands of gigs it’s endured, it’s in above average cosmetic condition and still sounds as great as it did the day it was removed from the box back in the good old 80’s. Those were the days… ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Yamaha TX7 FM Expander Tone Generator with Original Box & Manuals!
Cosmetically Excellent – Needs Service and/or maybe just A New Battery!

Includes Tape 1, the 2 original Manuals, plus an additional copy of the Owners Manual.

This Unit is super clean and looks like it was never used…

Please note: the sticker on the back of the unit Reads 100V, but it has an OEM Yamaha 120V – 7amp USA Plug and the 7amp fuse inside is still good!

This was not mine, when I turn on the power switch i can hear it click inside, but nothing shows on the *screen… therefore I am selling it as is.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Yamaha TX7 Tone Generator FM Expander Sound Module.

Works well. About 30 years old. Home studio use.

Has sounds loaded and will work as-is. But… Requires midi software connection, or DX7 connection, to program and change sounds.

Not multitimbral. Plays one sound at a time.

Desktop unit. Non-rack-mountable unless you have a rack tray. 10 ft power cord.

Display is not backlit. These units, like the original DX7, require modification for backlit display.

Manual (photocopy) included.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
