“Available for purchase: a vintage Korg Poly61 Synthesizer for repair. This keyboard does not work in it’s current state and needs some pretty extensive work. The SSMs are still intact and a spare CPU board/parts are included. Please note that this will not power on as-is. I had every intent on repairing as there’s definitely a working unit somewhere in this mess. I unfortunately no longer have the time” Link

Korg, X-911 @ 16 December 2017, “No Comments”

” This is a vintage synth for guitar that tracks the played note and turns it into a control voltage (CV) to drive it’s internal voices or an external oscillator by way of the patchbay. You can blend the voice side with the synth side simultaneously with a direct output and an external synth if you want to get crazy. There are some controls for foot pedals that I have never used but I recall when I picked it up from Analogman back in the day Mike had fully checked it. That was 17 years ago and I have taken very good care of it.

This is a monophonic synth! That is one note at a time, tho it can be fun to play chords for the unpredictable sounds that come out of it.

A guitar with a high output (humbucker), in the neck position, turned up to 10 on the guitar itself is the best way to make full use of the piece of equipment.” Link

Korg, MS-50 @ 16 December 2017, “No Comments”

“The Korg MS-50 Expander Module is fully-patchable, keyboard-less, single VCO monophonic analog synthesizer. It uses Korg’s Hz/V type of CV & Gate for control with other synths like the MS-20. It has lots of knobs and offers more patchability & power than any other MS synth. Other features include a ring modulator, voltmeter and Sample & Hold. It was also designed to complement the SQ-10 sequencer. It has been used by The Chemical Brothers, among others. The MS-50 is a rare model within the MS series. It has internal circuits such as a divider and integrator not found on the MS-10/20, which supported even more complex ways of creating sound. The voltmeter on the upper right-hand side of the panel captured the hearts of many synth players. Of course, it could also be played on its own by using CV/Gate signals.

Worked fine the last time it was used, but hasn’t been turned on in a while or fully tested (has been kept in a climate-controlled environment), so selling “as is.” Includes manual and schematics.” Link

“Excellent shape, vintage analog KORG Poly 61 synth. Sounds amazing! Nothing can beat that vintage analog Korg sound. Very cool arpeggiator too!” Link

Korg, MS-2000 @ 16 December 2017, “No Comments”

“One of the original VA synths, needs no introduction really. I’ll only state that the synth is fully functional, recently cleaned, initialized and factory restored. Control surface is fully functional, very low hours, vivid BRIGHT display. Original power cable fits snug and was written on with Sharpie to not confuse it with other PSUs in the studio.

Original owner replaced the original wood side panels with wider cut reclaimed lumber (never bothered me much, it looks cool. Used soley in project studio. (NO Filters used on photos, taken in room with overhead lights on – BRIGHT!)” Link

Korg, Polysix @ 16 December 2017, “No Comments”

“Classic Analog Keyboard (pre-midi). All keys work, sounds nice. But here’s an important issue. You cannot access or save presets. The keyboard works fine in “manual mode” only, which means you can dial in your sound, changing parameters, but you cannot save the sound/patch. Perhaps there is an easy fix, perhaps not. I am just not sure. Other features seem fine to me. The arpeggiator works, the fx section works (and the chorus and ensemble effects are terrific), pitch bend and modulation work. No dead keys. So, the keyboard is being sold as-is. Maybe you want it for parts, maybe for recording, maybe for nostalgia.” Link

Link

“You are bidding on a vintage-1978 Korg MS-10 Monophonic Synthesizer in extremely rough shape. I pulled it out of an abandoned house just days before it was demolished. There was a lot of cool stuff in that house. But I can’t talk about that. In any case, the place was sitting empty, rotting away, for twenty years. Things were left in the house after the owner passed away and there were no heirs. But, I digress. The thing actually powers up and makes noise when I turn the knobs. I don’t know anything about synths, but I think this one might be salvageable. I have no idea what it looks like inside. The pots are scratchy, the 1/4” jacks most likely are heavily oxidized, and it’s missing a couple of keys, but for an opening bid of $20 what have you got to lose? I’m sure it will clean up real nice. If you want a challenge go no further. ” Link

“Hello! I’m selling my gently used MS2000BR. This was my very first hardware synth and I got it used a number of years ago. Nostalgia has kept me from selling it, but because I’m downsizing and it doesn’t get much use anymore, I’d rather it be with someone who will use it! I don’t see this unit come up for sale much, the MS2000B and MS2000BR came out after the original MS2000 and were made in black instead of blue. There are some aesthetic scratches (seen in the photos) but it is otherwise working perfectly.” Link

Korg, MS-10 @ 09 December 2017, “No Comments”

“Korg MS-10 in very good conition. All pots and jacks and fully functioning. None of the pots are scratchy. Keyboard is straight and smooth. Synth is in excellent working condition with just a few small bumps and sracthes here and there as one would except from a Synth from the 70’s (see pictures).” Link

“This is a MaxiKorg DV 800 synth, circa 1976 that belonged to my Dad . It lights up and makes sounds but past that I cannot tell you anything. All of the keys work and one was glued back together some years back. It may need a good cleaning on the inside as for the pots and slides as they tend to attract dust over 41 years.” Link

“Korg Poly-800 Vintage 49-key Synthesizer. Not working. SOLD AS IS.

Poly-800 is in good cosmetic shape: cap from tuning slider and battery door are missing. Case and keys are in great shape. Battery compartment shows no corrosion. It powers up intermittently using a universal 9v power supply (not included). Display shows “Load” when it powers up. Some TLC and a SYSEX reload might bring this back to life.” Link

“A very flexible and fun synth. Other cool tricks up its sleeve include chord memory and an effects mode in which oscillators have a variety of ways to be synced. The built-in arpeggiator and sequencer can run all 4 VCO’s at a time or cycle through each voice per note!” Link

“This unit has lived in my smoke free studio since it was new. It’s fully functional and all of the knobs still move smoothly with no wobble. There’s one small nick in the finish on the bottom (too small to see in the photo) It looks and sounds like it did when it was brand new with those great classic KORG tones!
It comes with the original manual, transformer, and is packed in the original box.”

Korg, MS-50 @ 02 December 2017, “No Comments”

“Great condition and all functions working perfectly. Includes original manual.

I recently upgraded all the panel mount jacks as the original plastic ones are getting a bit old and frail at this point.”
