“Roland SH-09 Rare Vintage Analogue Synthesiser

Good Condition. Fully Working. One or two marks and one slider button (£4.99 eBay) missing (see photos).

Very few of these left, so an appreciating classic. Condition is Used. ”

“Classic synth from Roland golden era.

Deep sub bass is unrivalled in my opinion – similar to a 101 but a richer sound.

Fully working with just one quirk – the pitch bend and filter amount sliders which dictates the amount of range the bender will control (not main filter – the ones above the bender stick) actually just bend the pitch or close the filter when raised..

Never bothered me as I control it via cv and trigger.

Easy fix if you wanted… and no impact on the sound or main controls on the synth.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“ROLAND SH-09 SYNTHESIZER 9 KEYBOARD IN NICE LOOKING AND WORKING CONDITION. HAS A DING ON THE BOTTOM AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BUT HARD TO SEE. NEIGHBOR IS MOVING OUT OF TOWN AND GETTING RID OF A FEW OF HIS EQUIPMENT THAT HE USED BACK IN THE DAY FROM HIS BAND DAYS. THANK YOU” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Fantastic little workhorse synth, capable of deep bass (that some say is superior to its sister, the SH101) and other great lead sounds and effects.

Showing its (38 year old) age in some places, with some chipped paint, a little rust and a couple of scratches, but has had a recent service and in full working order.

No scratchy pots, all rear connectors work perfectly and the synth engine as good as its ever been.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Awesome Roland vintage analog monosynth from Roland’s classic SH-series based on a single VCO oscillator. Essentially this is a stripped-down version of the SH-2.

Excellent condition for its age, both cosmetically and operationally. Sounds amazing. Great for deep basslines.

All keys have smooth movement and are responsive. All knobs and sliders operate as intended. Switches are tight. Bulbs indicating power and modulator rate light up. No pot scratchiness.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Well-loved Roland Sh-09 for sale. Professionally serviced when I purchased it a couple of years ago and it’s been played relatively little at home and has been and packed away for the last year.

As you can see from the photos it’s missing two slider caps, has some wearing on the panel, and has had key repairs done to it prior to me purchasing it. On the plus side, at 35+ years old, it works beautifully. It sounds like magic and plays like a dream. This is surprisingly versatile for a monosynth and you can feed the output back into it for some really screaming leads and bass. ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“For sale is a Roland SH-09. It is working well but has a few noticeable issues. Mainly there are several scratchy pots, sliders and some faint krackly in the audio when pressing some of keys. Likely all due to needing some deoxit and cleaning. All functions appear to be working as they should except S/H section of LFO. It could use a little maintenance to get it back to 100% functional condition, great project for someone hand with repairs. Due to issues it is sold as-is condition, no warranties or guarantees. There is some cosmetic wear as expected for its age. Check out the pictures to make sure you like it.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Roland SH-09

“In decent condition, considering it’s age – keys are all fine, no sticking knobs, all sliders work fine, no excess noise – only marks are to the casing, which is showing some signs of rust – see pictures – but it’s kind of cool.

Also had some very small burn marks on three of the keys (see pics) – they’ve been there since I bought it in 2001, I guess from it’s earlier owner who probably rested cigarettes (or whetever?!) on there during gigs! haha. The eighties eh… ?

Anyway, awesome, fat synth, in 100% working order, sounds FANTASTIC, dripping in mojo and will bring you hours of squlechy, wobbly low-end fun.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“For sale is a Roland SH-09. It is working well but has a few noticeable issues. Mainly there are several scratchy pots and sliders. All functions appear to be working as they should except LFO mod on VCF or VCO (sorry can’t remember which one, I wrote notes on this before packing but now have misplaced my notes, but I recall there was an LFO mod section not operating properly). It could use a little maintenance to get it back to 100% functional condition, great project for someone hand with repairs. Due to issues it is sold as-is condition, no warranties or guarantees. “Vintage 80’s Synth with some of the best sounds and will be sorely missed !! If your looking at this you’ll already know how great it is and rather than give you a massive write up there are reviews online and videos. This is an awesome piece of kit. It comes with the original Roland carry case and a Kenton Pro Solo which converts the Analog to Digital so it can be recorded in a studio. The keyboard has 2 knobs missing which does not affect it in any way and it is fully working. It’s only had studio use and will make someone very happy !! Sad to see go but new daughter forces sale ” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Up for your consideration is this vintage Roland SH-09 Analog Synthesizer. Built in Japan by Roland and introduced in 1980. The SH-09 is a 1 VCO monophonic synth design. Nice features include random LFO wave and CV/Gate control. It has a 2 1/2 octave 32 key board. Available wave forms are sawtooth, square, pulse (with pulse width modulation), or white noise. This unit is used but is in very good condition for its age. Body does show scuffing and scratching from use, but is solid overall. Powers up fine, keys are a bit sticky/catchy but not bad, and all of the functions appear to work. This synth works fine as is, but a good cleaning and overhaul to will get optimum performance from It will be well worth the investment. A hard to find retro analog synth that’s still great for that indie or early 80’s electronic sound!” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“1980s, classic analog bass synth by Roland.

If you are looking at this I’m sure you are aware of how highly regarded this synth is.

Deep, rich, bass tones. Classic Roland sound.

Please remember this is a vintage piece of kit.

However, in good working order and cosmetic condition. The volume pot is a bit noisy when moving it, but it’s absolutely fine once you’ve set the level.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“Up for sale is our Classic Roland SH09 Analog Synth. This to me as well as many others is far superior in sheer tone compared to the more popular SH101. The oscillator section and filter section sound every bit as powerful and huge as our Roland System 100 Modular. Its a sound that no other synth can do. It may be limited but it makes up for that in the biggest basses and leads.. not to mention the craziest efx. It looks fantastic as it has never been gigged and it all works and sounds great!”

sh09 “This listing is for a Vintage Roland SH-09.
This unit is working well.
But the inside of screw hole to connect body and body cover is broken.
So the body cover is not perfect connected to the body.
But this problem would not be a big problem for playing.
This unit is for 100Voltage. You may need the voltage converter to use it.”

used roland sh09 “Selling my SH-09 after many years of great service. It is in great condition. Included with it is the Doepfer MCV 4 midi to CV converter allowing the SH-09 to be sequenced and triggered externally by anything. It has an external 1/4 input allowing you to feedback the headphone out back into itself, or send any other synth through this filter.

I am the second owner and have used it in a smoke free home studio for 10 years. The only thing wrong with the synth is that the portamento slider does not work, and if moved can cause unpredictable pitch stuff, so I leave it off all f the time and it causes no problems. The Amp Env release slider is missing its cap.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
