The unit itself isn’t in top cosmetic condition yet it’s OK, internally it’s perfect. It powers on immediately and the record light starts blinking to indicate it is ready to receive the required data from the connected Prophet 5.

it is switchable 115v/230v.

i can not test this, because i have no prophet 5, but i would trust this to be working.
the condition is very nice and when switched on it lits the LED for record.
(the exact same behaviour as i read from another user checking his one out without prophet 5)

“This will need some work but functions somewhat and is a very hard to find unit. Currently you can record sequences, speed them up, slow them down, extend them, and transpose them. Edit section doesn’t seem to work. Button 2 and 5 are hard trigger. When plugged into my prophet 5 it adds hum to the signal. I have no idea about the cassette deck. Only 500 ever made, so very rare. Powers up fine with record button flashing when turned on (which should happen) and fully functional last time used. A real collectable item.

Made circa 1982 and an extremely rare piece. Partcilualry on this condition!

“Very rare sequencer , only 500 were made. For use with the Prophet 5 synthesizer that has been fitted with the digital and analog ports ( rev. 3.2 or 3.3 ) the sequencer uses the digital port only. Recording can be in real time or step time. Real time is extremely straightforward , but step time needs a bit of thought before programming , the manual is a good help in this regard and is available as a free online download. The unit plays and records well , although i am not sure about recording onto the cassette . The cassette deck works and plays the tape, but i have never tried recording onto it ( a mini data cassette is included ) I am assuming that it may well work , but do not buy if this is important to you as i cannot guarantee this ( it is not important to me , as simple sequences only take a few seconds to load in ) The cosmetic condition is very good . The black paintwork has been touched up in one or two places , but on the whole is fine. The 6 screws on the casing would look better with new replacements ( for a few pence ) The wooden end cheeks could do with re-staining or replacing , one has a bit of damage to the wood finish. There are several companies that will make up replacements for a reasonable price ( bespoke custom made end cheeks would look nice )” Click here to visit listing on eBay
