Sequential Circuits Pro One

“Legendary analogue synthesizer from 1981. Without a shadow of doubt the most powerful mono synth ever produced. This thing is completely devastating for bass, but also excels at leads, drones, percussive sounds and all kinds of other complete madness. A truly wild and amazing instrument. The real deal – none of this modern clone/reproduction business.

This one has the much more desirable J-Wire keyboard – and is serial number 6732. A bit of research online will reveal that this is what you want – the first couple of thousand has problems with the internal power supply and the ones after 8000 had the badly designed membrane keyboard. The synth was serviced a couple pf years ago and is working flawlessly (I can provide the service invoice). The synth is in immaculate condition cosmetically. Wooden end cheeks are in really nice condition. All in all for a 40 year old unit this is a really incredible example. An amazing and inspiring instrument but also a solid investment, the price of these things is rising all the time these days.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Sequential Circuits Poly Sequencer

“Very rare sequencer , only 500 were made. For use with the Prophet 5 synthesizer that has been fitted with the digital and analog ports ( rev. 3.2 or 3.3 ) the sequencer uses the digital port only. Recording can be in real time or step time. Real time is extremely straightforward , but step time needs a bit of thought before programming , the manual is a good help in this regard and is available as a free online download. The unit plays and records well , although i am not sure about recording onto the cassette . The cassette deck works and plays the tape, but i have never tried recording onto it ( a mini data cassette is included ) I am assuming that it may well work , but do not buy if this is important to you as i cannot guarantee this ( it is not important to me , as simple sequences only take a few seconds to load in ) The cosmetic condition is very good . The black paintwork has been touched up in one or two places , but on the whole is fine. The 6 screws on the casing would look better with new replacements ( for a few pence ) The wooden end cheeks could do with re-staining or replacing , one has a bit of damage to the wood finish. There are several companies that will make up replacements for a reasonable price ( bespoke custom made end cheeks would look nice )” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Sequential Circuits Drumtraks

“Please be fully aware. . This unit is being sold with the following 4 description statements ONLY. . .

1/ This unit does NOT work, and is sold for parts, or for someone to repair or get the unit repaired.

2/ This is a complete unit (all original parts, case never been opened since I’ve had it). The physical condition as shown in the photos.
Please study the pictures. . .You can see there are some chips and marks along the front top edge, and odd sratches and marks about the thing in general, which one would expect from a Drum Machine from 1983/84. I’ve had the unit since 1990 and have never opened it, so all the parts are there. The unit worked for me and I used it from 1990 to 1993 in my home and it was taken out once to gig. I used it again for 6 months in 2001. Since then and up untill testing it on 02/04/2021 it was kept in a cardboard box under a bed in my home.

3/ ( the unit was tested 03/04/2021, with the following findings :- )
The unit powers up, meaning the LED display and some LEDs come on, when unit switched on.

4/ ( the unit was tested 03/04/2021, with the following findings :- )

There is no sound coming out of any of the outputs.

The rest of the swithes, contolls, inputs, outputs, including MIDI in and out, were not tested, (could not be tested as no sound comes out).
The unit was left on for a whole day with no changes to what worked and what did not work.”

Sequential Circuits Pro One

“I replaced the cord and fired it up. Appears like all the knobs and switches are working. Both the wheels work. The pots all need to be cleaned up, they are scratchy. Switches too. Keyboard needs to be disassembled and restored. I have had it since the late 90’s. When I put away for storage everything worked. If I had the time I would restore it myself…..” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 Project Machine

“Here we have my Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 which is sadly not in the greatest of health. I’ve owned it for over 10 years, done some gigs, lots of recording she’s served me well. A few months ago I powered it up after not using it for a while and the display showed no power. Flicked it off and back on again and it powered up but no sound. Every other function works. You can select and load sounds, arp works and will control other synths over midi keyboard likewise. With the volume cranked you can hear a click that should be the sound . The filter will even have effect on this click. It has the gotek floppy emulator which has always worked perfectly and has been in it a good 5 years which I retro fitted fairly neatly. It also comes with an original manual which is a binder type and is massively useful and as a bonus was signed by the man who wrote all the sequential manuals Stanley Jungleib. I also have a sound library of about 200 discs on memory card and about 20 odd floppy’s. I’ll be very sad to see it go but I just don’t have the time or resources to fix it and am in need of something functional to replace it with. Remember this is for repair or parts.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Sequential Circuits Pro One

“Legendary analogue synthesizer from 1981. Without a shadow of doubt the most powerful mono synth ever produced. This thing is completely devastating for basslines, but also excels at leads, drones, percussive sounds and all kinds of other complete madness. A truly wild and amazing instrument. The real deal – none of this modern clone/reproduction business. The synth was serviced a couple pf years ago and is working spot on. There is one control knob (Osc A volume) missing as can be seen in the photos, but the actual potentiometer still functions perfectly and can be used like normal. There were none available at the time the unit was serviced, but they are readily available from a few sources at the moment and cost just under £10. The unit is in really nice overall condition cosmetically. There’s a hairline mark on the casing just to the left of the pitch/mod wheel as can be seen in the photos but this is superficial and has no affect on functionality. Wooden end cheeks in really nice condition. All in all for a 40 year old unit this is a really fine example.” Click here to visit listing on eBay
