“I tested this keyboard to the best of my ability. It doesn’t have any of the disks so I was only able to create sounds using the create wave form of function. Everything seem to be working fine I was able to make some pretty cool sounds. The bend an oscillator and VCF knob works great the LCD is in good condition all the keys work. I don’t have a disk to test the drive with. But the red light turns on and seems to be working and it makes sound on start up feel free to see the photos for its condition it will come with an oversize soft case and power cable.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“This item was tested and appears to be working as it should. Most sellers don’t spot or mention this, but the backlight is dim, as is typical with these at this point in time, though theyre often completely dead. What this means is you’ll either want to use it in a well-lit room or you’ll want to replace it. It may be possible our tech can do this for an extra fee – contact us before purchasing to discuss as this may or may not be feasible due to our heavy workload.

This unit sounds great and is in what we’d consider excellent physical condition for a used item of its age, but dont take our word for it – please check out the photos.

Sale includes original box and foam end pieces. The air spaces will be filled with bubblewrap or similar, and the box will have cardboard folded over it before shipping. It’s possible the box may see some typical shipping damage but the keyboard itself should arrive intact. ”

” This unit was released in 1986 and the highlights are 12bit,Analog Filter/envelope/VCA with 12 db or 24db filter mode and a pair of digital delays built in.Not only can it sample but is capable of additive synthesis and manually drawn waveforms.This unit is well worn, with discoloration and a white mark where it punched through some drywall(maybe?).The unit powers up fine and I have some disks I will include but I think the floppy might need to be replaced.It was working when I put it in storage 10 years ago but it won’t properly load Korg factory disks.If I get it working I will update this listing but for now it is sold AS-IS,in need of repair.I will ship this UPS ground within the contiguous U.S. only for a flat rate but I guarantee you it will cost me $130+ because of weight and size(it’s a tank).Packaged with bubble wrap, foam and heavy duty cardboard adult signature.”

“This is the 2nd DSS-1 I have listed, I currently have a DSS-1 in a separate listing so I am labeling this one #2.This DSS-1 is in good condition with minimal discoloration, the end checks are undamaged and the only problem is the return spring has come off of the lowest C# key and it does not trigger.I have some disks that are Korg branded/labeled that I will include, the disks load fine and the sound is powerful and crunchy just like you would expect 12 bit to be.To be clear, this unit powers on, loads discs and plays normally.I will include a manual and several Korg branded floppies.”

Comes with a hard case but the inside foam is falling apart so it needs to be fixed but it will help it for shipping.
