Cosmetically, the sequencer is very clean and is good overall condition but the digital interface cable connection exhibits corrosion (see pictures). “Here is a vintage Prophet VS. The synth exhibits some light cosmetic wear and is missing the Data Entry slider knob but is in clean overall shape. The keyboard does have a few electronic issues such as the sound which comes through is a little noisy/distorted and the arpeggiator not working correctly. The arpeggiator is not stable, depending on where the Waveform Mix knob is positioned, the rate either increases or decreases. It does this very slowly and does not stay locked in one setting. All other functions and presets work. These synths are powerful and quite rare. ” Very rare item, reluctant sell due to moving and i have 16 keyboards and this particular synth in rack format. Never taken on the road, home studio use only. All buttons and knobs are original and working. Needs new battery for memory back up. Under $20 on eBay and easy install. Comes with very rare factory VSROM card #3 with 100 extra sounds. Nothing sounds like this synth. Strings are so lush and a very unique texture and stereo vectoring is awesome. Missing a couple case screws, a little paint wear from moving from stand to instrument closet over the years. Otherwise in xlnt shape for its age. For sale is my Sequential Circuits Prophet VS keyboard. These keyboards are getting rare and don’t show up for sale more than a few times a year. It’s fully functional, in excellent shape, only minor markings to be found. Check out the pics below for your own inspection. Backlight is out but the screen is still easy enough to read in well lit room and drop-in replacement backlights are now easily available on ebay. Everything is working as it should (no guarantees on the aftertouch, theses are known to have aftertouch issues). I’ll even include some extra sysex patches I’ve collected from ROM & RAM cartridges over the years, sent via email attachment to the winning bidder. Amazing vector synthesis sound with analog filters. Nothing sounds like the VS! Haunting pads, thick leads, bells, effects, it’s amazing every time I play it. Power cable included. “Ich verkaufe hier einen gut erhaltenen, technisch einwandfreien Prophet VS von Sequential Circuits.

Das Gerät im seltenen Rackformat hatte einen Vorbesitzer (Chick Corea) und war Ende der 80 Anfang 90 im Tour und Studioeinsatz, also somit auch auf seinen Platten zu hören! Also handelt es sich hierbei um ein Stück wahre Musikgeschichte!!!
Der Prophet VS hat Gebrauchsspuren am Gehäuse, funktioniert aber technisch einwandfrei. Alle Taster, Slider und Vector Joystick funktionieren tadellos.

Es wurde am Gerät nur die Batterie ersetzt. Sonst also alles noch Originalzustand!

Für sein Alter befindet sich der VS in einem optisch und technisch gutem Zustand und ist allein schon wegen seiner Seltenheit ein absolutes “Muss” für Sammler und natürlich auch für jedes gute Studio das etwas auf sich hält.
