“• A previous owner installed the “Moog Slayer” filter mod, which adds knobs for real time control over filter parameters (see photos). This is similar to the mods often installed on the Korg Poly-800 and gives you some hands-on control that would usually be lacking. It’s a subtle effect but very useful on a synth that otherwise would be difficult to program.
• The synth’s condition is “fair” — it’s a somewhat ugly little thing, but it sounds cool and all the keys work!
• Also note that one of the keys has a chip in it, and the undersides of some of the keys are broken. This is just a visual thing — ALL THE KEYS FUNCTION PROPERLY.

“You are bidding on 1985 DK 70 Siel with N.01 EXP. 80 sound bank cartridge. The DK 70 is used and in good condition. I can get everything to light up/turn on and get all the buttons to function, but I can’t get any sound out of it. I don’t know anything on how to operate it or if it needs programming. The DK 70 only comes with the DK 70, The pitch slide attachment, and the Rom Pack EXP. 80 sound bank cartridge. There is no power supply adapter that comes with it. There’s a green string zip tied on the side that was used to hold up the keytar. the second to last key on the right has the bottom part half chipped off of it. “This auction is for one 1987 Siel DK-70 synthesizer. This keyboard is being sold as is for parts. I do not have a power supply to test this item. I tried powering it up with fresh “C” batteries but it did not come on. Cosmetically, it shows typical wear for a 22 year old keyboard. The keys are a little yellowed and the program sticker is coming loose. It is dusty from being in storage for years. One of the keys has a piece missing on it’s underside (see picture). “I bought this to use in the studio, but haven’t had the time since I have a baby now. This has been kept in a climate controlled, dust free studio and covered when not in use. Comes with power supply and will be professionally packed. The synth is very lightweight but sturdy design. I have never used the battery only feature, it has straps to make it into a keytar if that’s you’re thing. There’s a mod that can be done to add filter and resonance knobs to the front of the unit.
