“So I bought this about 6 months ago and am not using it. It’s working pretty well for a synth from the late 1970’s. As you can see from the invoice picture it was gone over and updated quite a bit by Synthchaser in California. This was before I purchased it. there are still a few issues I’ve noticed. There is sometimes a light click when keys are depressed coming through the amp. The string section seems just a little noisy, but this could be the era in which it was made? Not sure. Also the string section will occasionally cut out, but I’ve tracked this down to a wiring harness which I will mark. Not sure if it’s a wire or the plug. So it needs a little attention and it does have some cosmetic rust and wear, but overall it’s a pretty cool vintage board. I just don’t have the time for it. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“This listing is for a Vintage ARP Odyssey II 2810 Electronic Music Synthesizer. I acquired this as well as some other items from a man that was an avid collector in vintage electronics his whole life. He stated that he only set it up no more than 3 or 4 times since he purchased it new in the mid to late 1970’s. It has been sitting in a climate controlled closet in the original box all these years which is why its in excellent condition cosmetically and is extremely clean as well. It comes complete with the original foot pedal, an additional larger foot pedal and the instruction guide. Both pedal cords are still in excellent condition as well. You will also receive a 211 page book titled “Learning Music with Synthesizers”, as well as a hard to find complete set of full size, two-color patch charts that are designed to fit over the control panel of the instrument, providing you with the proper control setting for sixteen popular patches (see last pic). “Very rare ARP AVATAR analog guitar synthesizer module 1977
very few made also ARP’s last synthesizer.
AVATAR is basically an ARP Odyssey synth with guitar interface,
but it has SYNTH INTERFACE CV IN/OUT,GATE IN/OUT,TRIG IN/OUT
so you can control AVATAR from your synth or sequencer.
I just checked that the power turned on,did not check all other function
so I’ll sell it as a broken item need repair.
ARP AVATAR is used condition and seems need repair
red power light is turn on but main output selector’s green light is not light up
many slider cap are missing and some slider are hard to move smoothly.

“ARP Odyssey Mk3 vintage analogue synthesiser
This was bought in 1980 from a music shop in Manchester (no longer there).
It has had only one owner and is in excellent condition.
It has never been gigged (in fact barely left the house.)
It is in full working order, although the sliders are a bit stiff and noisy as it hasn’t been used for 30 years.

“Ive owned this for the past 17 years.
It was last worked on by Three Wave Music in NJ in 2010. It runs super smooth. The sliders are all good some are tough but all move fine. The Keyboard works great, some keys are a little stickier than others.

” Classic vintage Arp 2600 analog semi-modular synthesizer with model 3620 keyboard in absolute museum quality condition. This synth was in climate controlled storage, and unused for over 25 years of its life. It has just had a complete refurbishing and had it’s op amps upgraded by RetroLinear, and is absolutely 100% guaranteed to be in perfect operational condition. As you can see from the pictures, this synth is in immaculate cosmetic condition, with only the most minor of rub marks on the case. It’s never been on tour, or used for any live performance. It even smells new! You won’t find a cleaner or more perfectly functioning 2600 anywhere.
This is a model 2601 v1.0. Serial number 143. This version originally had op amps that didn’t sound as good as earlier versions of the 2600, but they weren’t as prone to mechanical problems. These have been replaced with upgraded op amps that combine reliability with the superior sound of the first models of the 2600. A complete listing of the recently completed overhaul is detailed below.
Remove key bed. Clean chassis, remove key bushings and replace with new. Correct geometry. Pull buss bars and springs. Clean keys and install 18 new standoffs. All tantalum caps replaced. All trim pots and sliders replaced. All flux removed and all the boards cleaned. All front panel jacks replaced. New wires installed where needed – most wires from harness saved. Noise generator power mod installed on board 5-1. Reverb gain mod installed on board 4-2. VCF mixer ac coupled mod installed on board 3. Ceramic capacitors audio mod installed on board 4-2. New power supply and sense lines installed. Audio path upgrade mod – replace all OP amps throughout. Calibrated and ground modified for reduced noise. ”

“Vintage ARP OMNI-2 Analog Keyboard Synthesizer
We plugged it up to a speaker and everything seems to work, there is some static, maybe a loose connection somewhere but it does work, it may need some work done to it, possibly something needs to be replaced. We do not know enough about it to say there are no issues with it but everything on it seems to be in working condition. Most of all the knobs are missing!”

” For sale is my Arp Solus. It’s in great shape for its age, there is some wear so be sure to check out the pics to make sure you like it. Overall it’s quite nice, especially the front fast. Includes out case lid (one latch is broken but the other latch still holds it closed). The synth itself is excellent and fully functional, including some new sliders installed so they move real smooth. The other older sliders still move well. A few of the sliders are missing their caps but they are easy enough to move and I believe you can find some replacement caps online. Awesome rare analog synth, don’t miss out!”

“This has been used on the road and has a few scrapes, scratches, and battle wounds.
On the left side the wood panel has been cracked from picking it up on it’s side

the sliders slide but could use some spray slider lubricants to slide more freely
the synth itself works great as it should.
there is a switch at the top labeled random s/h doesn’t have it’s on off switch but can be accessed with a toothpick or small poker type item
The Metal Axxe Badge on the front right fell off at some point. If you are the high bidder I will save your address and if and when I find it I will mail it to you but for now it is not on the front.
One knob slider has broken off. you can see all of this in the photos and all of these mentioned items are just cosmetic…the knob still slides and is functional
Other Than cosmetics this works perfectly and makes sounds like the Star Wars laser shots as well as deep low base, and lots of other dialed in effects
I remember some paper that we would lay over the top of the knobs and dial in a sound

“ARP 2600 SYNTH SERVICED
Selling my ARP 2600 as i need money for a project. The synth was fully serviceds in 2017 by Kent Spong: work included fitting new contacts, springs and bushings to the keyboard, plus general maintenance inc replacing caps and some knobs/switches. I also asked Kent to fit an additional long reverb tank as well as the short and install a toggle switch to alternate between the two. The central position of the switch bypasses both – please see last pictures. The switch can be mounted in the case – but i wanted to keep the 2600 original. so I’ve left this as an option for the potential buyer.

However when I fired it up to make sure it still worked OK it came on blaring loud… so I simply adjusted to slider to turn down the output ….and then nothing.
