“Vintage ARP Axxe Mk II synthesizer with new sliders. In tune and working!
The one oscillator’s saw and pulse outputs can be mixed with the white noise source. The oscillator may be modulated by LFO (square and/or sine), random sample & hold, and ADSR. Pulse width adjustable from 5% to 50% and may be modulated by LFO and ADSR. 4 pole voltage controlled filter with self-oscillating capabilities. Filter may be modulated by keyboard control voltage, random sample & hold, LFO and ADSR. Normal keyboard triggering mode, as well as keyboard repeat and auto repeat. Pitch bend control, portamento/glide, and transposable up and down 2 octaves. 37 note keyboard.
The case has some holes that have been plugged from a previous MIDI mod which has been removed. The trigger in/out jacks are taped off inside the case (the holes they normally mount in were enlarged by the previous owner). Sliders were replaced and oscillator tuned to get everything working, but otherwise the synth wasn’t serviced or restored in order to keep the price affordable. The keys all work, but the bushings are old and the contacts are dirty, so sometimes a key may double trigger. Some wear and marks on the panel, as shown.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

“1970’s ARP AXXE SYNTHESIZER Model 2310. It does power on and make sounds but due to the fact that I don’t know to operate it, I cannot confirm that every function works as it should. For that reason I’m listing it as parts or non working Unit powers on and makes sounds. I’m not sure how to operate it. It’s missing 3 of the rubber tips of the sliders but all sliders move and none are broken off. It shows expected wear from age and use and the bottom is missing some of the screws. It would benefit from a good servicing that I will leave up to the new owner. Things to know before you buy: it’s over 40 years old and is not a new item. “This vintage ARP Odyssey has just been fully serviced by Synthchaser, the west coast’s leading ARP specialist – recapped, new ICs, new key bushings, all new LED sliders, all new slide switches, fully functional, tuned and calibrated, and sounding awesome! The Odyssey was ARP’s answer to the Minimoog, a feature packed scaled down version of the legendary ARP 2600. This late model ARP Odyssey is equipped with the 4075 filter, a tasty 4 pole LPF found in all late model ARP synths.
The synth is in great condition, and was acquired from the original owner who bought it in 1980 and put it away in 1981. It comes with a wooden road case, and the foam is still good! There are touches of rust along the edges of the synthesizer (see photos), but they are not distracting from the overall awesomeness of this synth. This synth comes with Orange illuminated LED sliders to complement the Orange & Black color scheme of this late model ARP. “ARP Omni 2480 Power Supply, Phaser Board, Synthesizer (including Low Pass Filter) Board. These were removed from a damaged ARP Omni approximately 10 years ago with the intent of building a standalone phaser and low pass filter and I never got around to it. The power supply worked when removed, and the low pass filter section also worked, though the sliders are stiff and need replacement. I didn’t test the phaser board before removal, so I don’t know if it works or not. Note there has been some repair work on the synth board (upper left, “Z3″) and the phaser board (upper right of PCB, solder side).

“Up for sale is an ARP PRO/DGX. Has been sitting in my studio unused for at least 12 years. Cosmetically it is in OK shape with visible dings and scratches but nothing big. The portamento slider is missing the end cap. Everything on it works, but it needs servicing. All the keys work, but some are finicky and needed several hits to wake back up. The keyboard feels really good with only one G# being overly clicky. All presets work. The Clarinet button took several presses to wake back up, but was mostly consistent afterward. The sliders, touch sensor effects, and portamento switch work. Volume and Brilliance are a little sputtery, but the instrument does produce a clean sound after wiggling them. Pressing down a key to engage the touch sensor effects works but is quite sputtery and inconsistent and is the part of the instrument most in need of service.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

I’m not sure exactly what is wrong with it but these divide-down string synthesizers generally need to be rebuilt by a synth tech to become fully functional again. “This one is in beautiful cosmetic condition (it looks almost new) and working 100%. It has just been serviced and with a lot of restoration. ARP 2600 + 3604-P Keyboard
For sale is a very rare vintage Tonus logo of the Arp 2600 semi-modular analog monophonic synthesizer, most likely a 2600P V2.0 based on internal components. This is one of the more desirable sounding Arp’s to get with the 4027 Oscillator and 4012 Filter than the later G-clef and orange/black models.
Very good condition, with some wear as expected for its age but overall still nice shape. Most of the wear is on the outside tolex, the front panel face and keyboard itself are in great shape. Includes both lids to unit and keyboard along with keyboard connecting cable. Comes with original manual. We’ve had many 2600s pass through our shop over the years and we found this particular unit to sound fantastic. It’s 100% fully functional, just back from full professional servicing. Don’t pass this rare chance up!

“I purchased this 23 years ago as an investment.When I received it was fully functional and I was able to nail a bass patch that sounded every bit as powerful as any Moog I’ve ever heard.After a year it stopped functioning and I Opened it up and noticed the filter was potted with epoxy to safeguard anyone copying the circuit but also prevents service.I packed it back up and it has been in storage until now.I was considering sending it to discrete synthesizers (CMS) for service but there are quite a few options that would improve upon the existing instrument but I should leave that up to the end user how it should be hot-rodded.This synthesizer will always be worth more than the current Korg or Behringer knock offs because this ARP is 48 years old and is a collector item.I am selling this synth as is, untested but it does turn on and I was able to get a droning sound pitch tracked using the keyboard.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“A recently serviced ARP Avatar with the additional New England Patch Panel and sub-oscillator.
The rather useless “VCA-GAIN” fader has been re-routed and now controls the volume of a sub-oscillator based on the circuits of the Roland SH-101 sub-oscillator.
All is very good working, all faders has been desoldered, opened and cleaned. Broken parts replaced. So all faders function like new. The PSU has been refurbished with new parts. Some scratches and marks on the sides, but nothing major. The front panel is very clean and in good condition (see images).
I have been using it with a Kenton Pro-Solo and it works very well.
No guitar pick-up or chord. Just the synth.”
