“Near mint fully restored ultra rare (1 of 5?) 1975 odyssey mkII 2810 serial #62 authentic “moog lawsuit” ladder filter model version (all original arp factory made and installed…not a modern clone filter board by “synthchaser” or anyone else). Super clean all around, has all new faders, key bushings and power caps…it is perfect and needs nothing, good to go for many more decades, rarest and best odyssey anywhere. A member of the “Analogue Heaven” synth forum messaged me they have been keeping track of these rare original moog filter models there, and that only 5 are known to still exist, with three of them accounted for by present owners. Original 4035 moog style filters were only used in a handful of 2810’s like this one. You can see it’s filter in the pictures…the light green square board underside with 4035-004REV1 on it in small silver lettering. This one is even more rare in that it also has the earliest factory CV jack option not all moog filter ones had. Also comes with it’s ORIGINAL Arp anvil flight case, another rarity, for great protection in shipping and a cool collectible on it’s own with neat 70s graphics.”

“If you’re interested in a vintage Odyssey, this just might be the one. This rarely used beauty deserves another forever home.

This is that highly sought after rarely used vibe that one hopes for in a classic. In storage most of its life/30 years. Never gigged, a seldom used beauty.

There are the following minor imperfections: the bottom left corner is slightly compromised, see pics. Also, two of the slider caps have now broken while in storage. They can be replaced by third party vendors if you wish; it doesn’t affect the functionality. I brought it into a service center, where they checked it out and confirmed that its working well. Overall this classic works well, is in unusually excellent condition thanks to rare use and is waiting for someone who will appreciate and use it.”

This ARP Odyssey has just been serviced and is functioning very well. New sliders & slider caps were installed, power supply recapped, all tantalum capacitors replaced, new slide switches, new key bushings, cleaned key contacts, calibrated, and the 1/4″ output jack made to a high output.”

Original Mk I ARP odyssey, with the unique sounding type 4023 filter. It has spent most of it’s life in a recording studio and has been regularly maintained and serviced – Power supply recapped and rebuilt, and the keyboard serviced with new bushes.
Modified in the 1980’s by Kenton Electronics – minijack sockets at rear for cv, gate and trigger, inputs and outputs, works really well with a midi-cv converter.
It has always been very reliable with no issues and very stable tuning.
Plays really well, both with the internal keyboard and via midi, and sounds fantastic!

Cosmetically it is very good considering it’s age, there is one bad scratch just in the paint at the front (see photos) , this could probably be touched up and made almost invisible, only the paint is scratched, otherwise there are no serious marks or dents etc. the black printing on the panel is crisp and unworn as is the white panel, aprt from the one scratch it is in excellent shape overall.” Click here to visit listing on eBay

Up for sale is a vintage 70s Arp Odyssey v3 USA Synth Keyboard .

Please note that this is an original USA made highly desirable 70s version not a reissue .

The synth has just back from a having a service about 2 months ago so all works as it should – the keys work fine but can get a bit temperamental if you don’t play it for a while but they do work as they should .

The side of the casing does have some wear as does the base , there is a small chip on the bottom of the keys and is missing one of the slider tips .
