“Selling for parts or to be repaired by a qualified tech. These are the known issues I’ve found:
– No response from programming knob
– No response from tuning knob
– No sound from Output B
– Left side keys have poor contact — some work if you press hard at the top
It is in good physical shape and you can play the presets via the working keys or through another MIDI keyboard and output on the A or Mix jack. The buttons respond with proper lights, but nothing happens when you turn the programming knob so it’s in need of repair to be considered functional. ”

“This is the single voice keyboard manufactured originally for v.1 and v.2 series Arp 2600 synthesizers. Unlike old keyboards which are found in attics or forgotten in a basement, this has been an active keyboard in a smoke free studio. The keyboard action has been cleaned and a brand new set of bushings installed last year so it has no clacking or stickie keys. It plays very smooth. All electronic controls function 100%. None of the Tolex covering is ripped, but on the top of the case there are some scratches. It is cosmetically clean but the top of the case is missing the latches and one of the latching hooks as shown in the pictures. I do not wish to do any latch upgrades to the case and would rather that be determined by the new owner. Ships with a 6 pin connecting cable original to the Arp 2600. It will be wrapped and shipped carefully. ”

“EML ElectroComp 101 Keyboard Synthesizer in very good condition. I was recently lucky enough to grab an EML 100 and unfortunately can’t keep both, so my 101 is looking for a new home. Functionally it’s wonderful, but a little rough around the edges cosmetically. All can be seen in the pictures, but the handle is frayed, some dings and chips in the case, and there are some marks on the face where someone decided to “save” their parameters. “Crumar Performer String Synthesizer – Synth – Made In Italy. Overall in good condition. The only thing I can tell is that some slide buttons are missing and a few shafts may be cracked/broken. I would expect that it works, but I do not have a power cord for it, so unfortunately, I don’t have a way to plug it in and test. I watched a few videos online of what these things can do and what Crumar is known for, pretty neat!!”

“Marion Systems MSR2 Rack Synth.
Problems:
Has problems saving patches.
In order to get sounds via MIDI, adjust the mix volume by accessing menu and turn it up (its set at 00). Also it has to be AutoTuned to hear the oscillators. Got to AutoTune in the Menu: set to All and press Enter.
Sometimes it freezes while playing MIDI and adjusting parameters and has to be re-started.
I was told it may just need a simple battery replacement but I’m not a tech – I can not give an accurate diagnosis.
Fix and flip or add to your synth collection or spare parts if you already have one. The Marion MSR-2 is a rare synth. These are going for a nice price second hand/ on Ebay.
It has a wavetable, PWM type sound, Great for dub techno and through effects. ”

The Los Anglees Synthmasters at Rosen Sound restored this beast including key bushings, action, pot cleaning, switched CV to the standard 1v per octave, and s-trig gate jack to 1/4″. This upgrade connects a Micro to other equipment (they were made with .9v/8vo CV).
Also included is a Doepfer MCV4 companion with an AC adapter which hooks up to play/ sequence from MIDI including Mod Wheel and Aftertouch to the filter cutoff! You will need three 1/4″ Y cables to connect it. A perfect combo!
