“The previous owner seems to have connected a lead inside the box to part of the circuit. I don’t know what that means, I guess it’s an extra sound out? I plugged it in, the lights came on. The lid is not connected and there are no screws. Check under the lid as I tucked this lead inside the body. Comes with manual and original advert pamphlet.”

” This is a used synth that I acquired and am selling, since it is from the 80’s it has normal cosmetic flaws such as some scratches, a dent in the back, and a cracked piece on the side, all clearly shown in the photos.
This is one of the first gens of DX7 synths I believe. The synth DOES turn on and all the buttons work, as shown on the display, HOWEVER I have not tested the sound as I do not have any output chords or volume pedals. This doesn’t come with the ROM cartridge, just the synth.”

“This is a half-rack Yamaha FB-01 FM synth. It must be programmed and operated almost completely through MIDI but it has a large selection of built in sounds. It has been used quite a bit so it has some cosmetic blemishes but has been tested and all features are working.

“Bought for a rebuild and just don’t have the time to get to it. Unit powers on as it should, but it has like 6 keys that are either broken or dead and make no sound. Also missing a switch cover by the volume switch. Early model made in 1985, it has plenty of “character” aka dings, stains, small chips/cracks, svc and other various signs of use. I already have $50 invested just in bubble wrap and a box to ship this heavy beast and it’ll cost another 35 to $100 for me too actually ship it so with that said please understand that this is a project item that needs work so it is being sold as is with no refunds or return”

Does have an intermittent fault on some start ups, the Synth goes into edit mode at times, this clears after 5/6 re-starts, maybe in need of a service.
The Synth was gigged regularly throughout the 80’s and early 90’s but has not been gigged since 1993. Only used occasionally at home.
No updates or modifications have been applied.
It was serviced by “Synth Repair Services in Stoke -on -Trent on 26th Nov 2012. (Copy of Invoice in Photos)
All the keys work, as does all the Knobs and Pitch Wheels.
It comes with the operation manual, the condition of this is well used., I do not have the original tape to upload the original patches.
There is a flight case that was made for the synth, which comes with it.

“This auction is for one used Sequential Circuits Pro One synthesizer. I have had it for 8 years and I have replaced all key bushings, had the power cable replaced, had the mod wheel replaced, and had the oscillators tuned and calibrated. It’s in amazing condition. I have seen several Pro Ones in person and this is the best condition one I have seen. You will not be disappointed. This is the J-Wire keyboard version, but the bus bar and J-wires have not been cleaned (by me) in some time and a lot of keys double-trigger at the moment. Just a warning so that you don’t think it’s defective. 😉 I typically controlled it via CV since that was easier than taking it apart and cleaning it. Plenty of tutorials online for that. It’s just time-consuming, but anyone can perform it. I am only selling this because I have had some recent financial trouble. I really don’t want to sell it. My loss is your gain. 🙁 ”

“Sequential Circuits Six-Trak. 240v VCO synth. Plays perfectly. No audio problems that I could find. On the left-side wooden panel, it has cracked where the screw is and has been re-glued back on. Barely noticeable, but could come off again during transport. Also, the transformer emits an audible hum from the transformer. Not a biggy, but FYI. Defintely sold as is with any and all issues.”

“Tonus Model 2002 predecessor to ARP 2500
only around 20 units produced between 1970-1971 before production started on the later ARP 2500 Model 2515.
Recently fully restored by Phil Cirocco at CMS Discrete Synthesizers in the US
Additional calibration and snagging carried out by Keith Kniveton at Lucid Sound in the UK
Cabinet fully restored.
Modules

1 X Model 1027 Sequencer
2 X Model 1026 Preset/Voltage Module (clones, see details below)
1 X Model 1002 Power Control Module (modified for European use)
Keyboard Model 3221
System serial no. 008 built in 1970.
As part of the schedule of works, Phil replaced the power supplies with modern linear models.
All modules were assessed and repairs carried out as needed. Trimmers were added as per ARP specs to aid future calibration.
1002 power module had upgraded front panel on/off switches to work under European 220V power specs.
1026 modules are a short run produced in very low numbers last year, the 1026 was only ever a prototype and never formally released. It syncs to the 1027 sequencer and 2 x 1026’s can be daisy chained which is how its currently configured. They introduce random elements to sequencer steps and are highly complex, interacting with each other.
This has been a no expense spared restoration and has taken around 6 years to complete.
Phil C commented it was the earliest system he’s ever worked on and was ‘historically significant’
Sonically, it sounds incredible and even in its current layout can sound very complex, admittedly its not the most advanced of configurations and there are currently 2 blank module spaces that could add more tone colour if populated with additional modules.

“Vintage ’80’s Oberheim DX Programable Digital Drum Machine. This drum machine is an early version and does not have MIDI. The overall condition is very good while showing some wear from age and use. All buttons and sliders are in good working order. The original samples sound great and each one can be tuned using the back controls. We were able to record some drum patterns and play them back. We did not try interfacing a cassette, so those functions were not tested. Includes an AC cable. Sold as-is. ”
