“Synth is in great shape and perfect working order. It takes either batteries or included 12volt adapter, not the original but a modern and better adapter. All functions work well and the keys are undamaged and still good and springy. I tested it on its own speaker and through a keyboard amp and performs flawlessly. Running through the controls you can here definite sounds from the eighties ( eurythmics, depeche mode, omd etc ). A really well kept bit of vintage kit.”

“Yamaha DX7 – SuperMax’d – Good Shape, Very Clean.
This is a classic of FM synthesis. This is the original which has a lovely rich dark sound. It has a grittier sound than the DX7II, which in my opinion gives the original more character.
The SuperMax upgrade turns the DX7 into a monster, it still has all the grit but sounds really Huge.
It gains a great Arpeggiator, space for 16 banks of sounds (memory for 512 patches)
Stack modes for huge sounds, and a Sound creator function which can take 2 sounds and merge them
into new sounds, and various other features.
Fully Functional. Keys feel good on this one!

” For sale is my Yamaha DX7 Digital Programmable Algorithm Synthesizer 61-Key Keyboard. Condition — For parts or not working. However, it does power on and might be easily repairable.
I purchased this new in 1986. I used it on hundreds of gigs. But for the last two decades, it sat in my office and was used only for sequencing. However, last week when I turned it on, you hear noise coming out of the main output as well as the headphone jack. Underneath, you can hear the keyboard playing faintly. So, it might be an easy repair.
Also the power cord looks like it’s about to come undone — I’ve had it taped for many years and it’s powered on.
As you can see in the pictures, some of the plastic covers are worn off. However, that’s just cosmetic — all the buttons work! Also, the B with the raised key also works!
It’s seen better days, but the DX7 was the first great digital synthesizer and was the industry standard in the ’80s. So, it could be restored and be used for many years to come! The following descriptions illustrates the historic importance of this keyboard —
I have the original owner’s manual.
NOTE: I have received several requests to ship this piano. Hadn’t planned on it — truthfully, I don’t want the hassle of boxing it up, etc. But, if the buyer is willing to pay the exact cost, I will ask a UPS store how much to box it and ship it. “The Prophet 600 was the first commercially available MIDI equipped synth (1981).
I recently took out the key contacts and cleaned them (this is a commonly needed procedure for these). The keys are perfectly straight and the action is nice and even from key to key.
The memory works perfectly.
This unit has not been modified in any way.
These sound amazing. They can be extremely aggressive and biting. The cross mod capabilities are very nice.
I wish I didn’t have to sell it.”

The Omni is an analog synth with preset Orchestral String sounds. It has polyphonic Violin and Viola waveforms as well as monophonic Bass and Cello waveforms. It is split into 3 sections: Strings, Synthesizer, and Bass synth – all simultaneously available. It has traditional and simple VCA, VCF, and LFO controls for contouring your sounds as well as a nice chorus that really thickens up the string sound. It has no program memory.
All Items I am listing were tested and photographed in 2012. They were then wrapped in plastic and stored. powers on, some of the LED on the buttons on the left side just blink but the unit has No Sounds / output
all keys are there and move – not damaged – a couple are scratched.
Quite a rare unit and well worth the investment of having it brought back to life
I do not know a Synth tech that I can trust with this unit so I will leave it to you to
get it done right!

“Roland Juno-106 Programmable Polyphonic Synthesizer. Serial # 578039. Working and I would say it is in good to very good condition. I’m not a keyboard player, I am a buyer/seller and I have acquired this through an estate sale type situation. I wasn’t able to talk to the original owner about it. I have tested most of the functions to the best of my ability, and it’s so cool I almost wanted to keep it. As far as function goes I believe it is 100% -although I do not know enough about it to be able to test all functions. I have not opened the unit for inspection, so I’m not sure how much dust etc. might be inside. It has some cosmetic defects, most notable being a hole in one of the keys as shown in one close up photograph. All keys work and this hole in the one key does not affect playability. How this might’ve happened is beyond my comprehension. There are scratches and little chips here and there on the face but overall it is in pretty good condition. I suggest expanding the photographs to see finer details.”

“After many years of amazing service, I have decided to sell my Roland MKS-80 Synthesizer with my MPG-80 controller. The synthesizer was recently serviced in Brooklyn, NY in order to fix a few voices that were louder than others and the synth was also re-calibrated and controller was cleaned once over. I use this most of my studio sessions and will continue to use it up until the moment it is sold. It has been the cornerstone of my studio for years but I need some extra cash to bump down my credit cards. It also comes with two cartridges for storing your own presets and changes.
