“Kawai K3m 6-voice rack synth module for sale, in Excellent condition.
Sale includes RC2 cartridge, a ~$75 value.
It’s a US Version (110V), only for sale to customers in N. American and Japan. The rackmount format gives you all the power of a classic 6-voice hybrid synth in a nice compact package.
This particular K3m unit is in VG to EX shape. All buttons and LCD characters are fully functional as well.
The SSM2044 analog filter (same as in PolySix) is makes this synth shine. Many describe the filters quality as smooth, round, kinda softer than CEM filters.
It includes an as-is storage cartridge. It does not appear to be working but perhaps its a bad EPROM. (A RC2 cartridge doubles the on-board patch memory to 100 patches you can call up instantly).

“Selling the package of two MIDIBASS modules and some extra components. Both of them are not ideal. One unit is working fine but it misses a tip of the midi channel switch selection. You can still set it with a flat screwdriver. Other module is not working as I remember, but it’s fully complete and it can be something minor to fix. Also I include two switches for MIDI channel and midi not priority configuration. I’ve never had a time to install those. So it’s a package deal for the cost of one MIDIBASS usually sells for.

“Here is a Vintage CASIO AZ-1 KEYTAR Portable Keyboard. This is in
Very Good Condition. It shows minimal signs of age and/or use. There are
no obvious signs of damage, misuse or poor storage. There is nothing “loose”
sounding inside and it has no signs of being dropped. The Battery Compartment
shows no history of corrosion but we could not get this to Power On with
batteries. We do not have a power cord but the batteries didn’t generate

“Here we have a fairly rare and in good condition Casio VZ-10m, one of the few truly professional pieces of equipment they made. I received it with the faded backlight issue, but I installed a new one and the display is easy to read even in low lighting now. I was very pleased when I didn’t lose any of the display elements, as many people have had that happen when installing a new backlight. This synth can make some amazing sounds, particularly pads, strings, organ, bell and fat synth sounds. Like the VZ-1, it uses a much more advanced form of synthesis than their cheaper models and is similar in some ways to FM. This one probably was originally sold in the Japanese market, as it is a 100V model. The pictured 120V to 100V converter is included in this auction and works great. This synth has been lovingly looked after and used on many recordings over the years. Unfortunately it has developed a fault that I’ve been unable to repair. I’ve also had someone else look at it locally who purported to be a specialist synthesizer repairer, but as it turned out they didn’t really know any more than myself about the LSI digital & analogue electronics employed in a synth from this era.
Having wasted my time and money trying to get it repaired locally, I’m not prepared to further send it, or drive 100’s of miles to try to get it fixed. I’m sure that it must be repairable by someone out there with the requisite abilities. Anyway, reluctantly, I’ve decided to put it up for auction here offered for spares or repair.
Here is a description of the fault;
a) 1) The on-board diagnostics report that the PCM ROM’s 1, 2 & 3 are “NG” (= no good).
(Note: all other diagnostics pass and complete correctly)
b) 2) Only spurious artefacts (from any patch selected) are audible when the keys are played, (or when external midi note on/off are received).
c) 3) When selecting a different waveform using the WG rotary encoder (for most of the patches), the waveform reference in the display appears to be corrupted.
d) 4) It appears to me that the fault is probably on the main board.
I have managed to verify (by selecting those patches which output enough spurious sound to work with) that apart from the above anomalies everything else appears to be functional. All sliders, knobs, buttons and the bender appear to work and display correctly. All midi functions; note on/off, sysex, bulk dump, external editing, etc. work correctly both in and out. All of the on-board effects function and display correctly.
As can be seen from the pictures, the synth is in excellent condition for its age, with just a few scuffs here and there. The top panel is in great shape and all sliders, buttons and knobs are intact. There has been none of the dreaded “red glue” on the move and all of the keys are intact.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“This module is in excellent condition with only few scratches/scrapes (mostly on the back and side panels; refer to photos). The face panel is clean and in excellent cosmetic and functional conditions. All knobs, sliders, and buttons work exactly as they should. The screen is clear, clean, and bright – it still has the plastic cover on it! There are paint (?) writings on the bottom of the unit near the MIDI and audio I/O.
