This gorgeous Memorymoog is an extremely rare and valuable instrument. It is a low serial number (1047) model with black side panels (few had black sides; most are silver). It was thoroughly overhauled in 2013 by Rudi Linhard to become a Lintronics Advanced Memorymoog (LAMM). Lintronics also replaced the original red LEDs with blue LEDs, and replaced the solid black mod wheels with luminescent blue LED wheels, motivating Rudi Linhard to nickname this monster “Blue Beast”.
The synth has also been meticulously maintained and further refined by Retrolinear, Inc., one of the premier vintage electronics repair and restoration companies (see Retrolinear’s website for their “A-list” band clients). Among other things, Retrolinear replaced the original power supply with an upgraded unit. The new supply is much lighter. More importantly, it is also silent. (Factory Memorymoogs used a noisy fan.) Retrolinear has also restored or replaced keybed elements and voice chips. All six voices tune.
Included in the sale is a custom flight case fabricated by Mark Dehart at Rock Hard Road Cases. Also included are copies of original Moog Memorymoog service and technical manuals; the Lintronics LAMM manual; and documents showing the LAMM and maintenance work provided.
A “regular” Memorymoog in good shape is an incredible find. The Blue Beast’s feature set and condition, however, are unmatched. You can see from the photos that, cosmetically, the Blue Beast is exceptional. It sounds better than it looks. The Blue Beast has lived in my home studio and has never been gigged or loaned.”

“This is a 1972 original Minimoog, serial number is #1442, the 442nd production model in April of 1972. It has the rare clear plexiglass pitch and modulation wheels from the previous model’s incarnation, before it became the Moog Music Inc. Model D, loved and used for many decades. It includes all the original parts found in the classic models from the 70’s including the coveted 1st generation Moog oscillators.
This MiniMoog had a “Studio Electronics” midi installation but it has been lovingly removed and brought back to it’s original specification by former Moog employee and synth expert Nick Montoya. And comes with it’s purchase, a 6 month warranty. Everything has been restored to “like new” performance and playability. “

“Moog Prodigy 32-Key Monophonic Analog Synthesizer. Condition is Used and needs work.
This is a great vintage keyboard that needs some TLC. How much? I’m not exactly sure and that’s why the offer price is so low. What I do know is that I purchased this item new around 1981. When I was testing it, just prior to listing on eBay, I broke the high F# key. Parts (black key) are available here on eBay for around $15 and YouTube videos are available on how to repair this. A great design and easy to fix. The wheels are a bit discolored due to the playing environment they were exposed to 35 years ago. Of course there are normal wear – nicks and scratches. The only work I’ve performed is cleaning it up a bit and working the pots and switches with Deoxit D5 contact cleaner. It does play, but certainly needs more attention before it is gig worthy.
In addition, like many VCO based vintage synths, you must allow it time to warmup before playing. 30 minutes is a good starting point. If you start playing before it warms up very disconcerting sounds are heard and the keyboard does not function properly. When it fully warms up it works okay except for the broken issue.
This unit is definitely sold as is with the buyer’s understanding that this keyboard needs work – at least an F# black key replacement. It could be as little as that. I don’t know. Ideally, this is for someone who is handy with this sort of thing or is willing to take it to a professional for additional preparation and reconditioning.”

“Foam is removed and overall good condition. There are very small chips in the front of 2 keys. See photos.
This MG-1 has a lot of mods. I can only guess what some of them are because they are not labeled, however, I’ve included photos of the wiring to help you figure it out.
Here’s what I can tell you about the mods:
Rear RCA jacks were changed to 1/4″ and it’s now V-trig for easier sequencing.
The output volume seems louder than stock.
I think the detune slider has been changed to go down a full octave.
The switch on the left drops the keyboard down one octave.
One of the knobs on the left changes the 2nd oscillator’s pitch. I think it detunes.
I think the knobs on the right are FM for Oscillator 2 and PW/PWM for Oscillator 2 square wave.

“It breaks my heart also to list this keyboard here on eBay along with the Jupiter 8 and the OB-Xa but I’m in the process of building my new studio and I have got to raise some funds. This Memorymoog Plus is in exceptional condition and all 6 Voices work flawlessly and tunes well. It has been serviced by the genius Kent Spong at KSR Synth Restorations (RL Music) and even he concluded that it even tunes better than LAMM Memorymoog – quite the statement. The whole thing had a full restoration and he went through everything top to bottom and I have to say it really is a Memorymoog that is a joy to play. As I said I wish I could keep it but money is very tight at the moment…
It is in superb condition: all faders, switches, buttons feel very good – not sure I have seen one this good!

“I believe this may be a prototype of the Moog Prodigy. I’m guessing age from no where later than 1979. Only 1 owner (who is deceased) until I acquired it. Telling details of being a factory prototype are the Prodigy logo with the Moog flag inside the Prodigy’s letter “O”, same as the Moog logo. On the back of the unit, in the upper left corner, there is a space for the unit’s model number (336), but wasn’t printed on the vinyl covering. The serial number is DD-07, which is nothing like I’ve ever seen on a Prodigy. Opening the keyboard up, I found a sticker stating “Property of D+D Eng.” “Ident 07″. Tested and plays & sounds great. No dirty pots. Great bass sound. Great cabinet wood. The only flaw is the wrinkled vinyl covering. This is one unique unit.”

“Moog Music Model 42-4000 Concertmate MG-1 Realistic Synthesizer with mods. Condition is Used. Working perfectly.
Has 2 mods done on it that are both filter octaves. This thing sounds rad. There’s a learning curve with these but once you figure them out they are super fun. Very warm bass synth sounds with polyphonic organ sound you can mix in. Sold as-is due to its age. Normal wear and tear.”

“This synth has had a full service – every slider has been cleaned or replaced if needed, one of the MM5823N divider chips was replaced, a 2n3906 transistor was replaced in the first oscillator. Also, the synth received a full recap using high quality Nichicon electrolytic capacitors. I performed a couple standard mods and changed the RCA out to a normal 1/4” jack along with increasing the overall output volume. The nasty ass foam protecting the sliders has been cleaned off and replaced, along with new knobs and slider caps. All keys were removed and polished. This synth looks lovely and will sound beautiful for years to come. Cosmetically speaking, it looks pretty good overall and has a few cracks in the overlay, also a few flecks of what seems to be white paint. Other than that, it’s quite pretty for a synth this age.”

“This Multimoog is in good condition, there are signs of wear throughout the body and some small cosmetic damage but nothing too serious. This synthesizer comes equiped with a 44-note monophonic keyboard with aftertouch, a ribbon-type pitch bend controller, and an external control voltage and trigger inputs/outputs for interfacing with other synthesizer equipment. The knobs work perfectly fine but the cover underneath the knobs is starting to bend and peel as you can see in the pictures provided. The Moog Multimoog Synthesizer is in working condition and turns on and works as in tended. Do not let this piece of synthesizer history slip away from you!”

“This is the one and only Moog Memorymoog with The LAMM upgrade straight from Rudi at Linntronics in Germany. (new keys, bushings, stable tuning, etc. check his website for details)
It is unequivocally the finest Moog made and the best MemoryMoog out there from a sound, midi, performance, stability, collectors and long term investment point of view. Comes with durable custom case which was hand delivered both ways per request of Rudi. He doesn’t accept fedex, ups, dhl or none of those companies. It is an exclusive, super expensive, pain in the butt shipping service which i’ve never heard of before.
One of the reasons the last LAMM that sold here on Ebay for 25k 3 years ago, is because Rudi at Linntronics’ turn around time is OVER 2 YEARS long. Along with the risk of sending your beloved 8k MM out to a foreign country for over 2 years (not for the faint of heart) and paying $2,000 dollars in shipping fees, plus another $500 for the customs tax charges and close to another $1,000 for a pro ANVIL custom built case,.. and that’s not factoring Rudi’s $7000 upgrade cost for his time, service and parts which goes up every year. This is one investment that will bring you years of unmatched sound and quality while holding its value and maybe even appreciating every year for you collectors.

“In nice conditions for a 45yrs old Synth and even for a collector.
It have minor marks including scuffs or scratches.
Everything seems to work as it should and it sounds like a beast.
There is a missing slider cap.
All sliders need grease or similar because they are not so smooth as new but no matter what they all work fine.
It was fully cleaned inside and it shows NO oxidation marks in the components.
Keys still bright with no cracks but there is some glue (at least I think it is glue) on 2 or 3 white keys that it is probably easy to remove but I didn’t even try it. Please see Photos.
The synth comes with a wood case that probably it was also from the 70´s and I will not post it without these case. ”
