” This very rare 184 keyboard has been in storage for the past 15 years and before that was lightly used. It’s in the same near-mint condition that it was when I bought it on ebay 20 years ago. The only cosmetic issue that I can find is a small ding on the edge to the right of the pitch wheel, just to the left of the first key (enlarge the first photo to see it). “Roland D-10 Vintage Multi-Timbral Linear Synthesizer – Used STAND NOT INCLUDED . Condition is Used.
“Roland Jupiter 6 synthesizer with high-end Gator flight case + Europa mod. Condition is Used.
“This will need to be serviced. It powers on and all of the functions for designing a sound work (adsr, lfos, pwm, portamento, chorus, ect). The things that haven’t been tested are the programming and saving of custom patches and banks, patch shift output, pedal hold output, and tape output and other possible functions I’m not aware of. I successfully connected it to my PC/DAW with a midi to usb cable (I’m not sure if all other midi functions work). And also connected it to my audio interface using a TRS cable.
“The synthesizer is in 99% working condition. The only issue I’ve had with it is that the gain switch on the back gets scratchy when switching between low, medium, and high gain. All the keys and functions work, including the mono and stereo chorus. Stereo outputs both work so you can get that wide stereo chorus sound. The keyboard has not been modded and is all original except for the key transpose button and, possibly, some interior components (it was serviced prior to me purchasing it and I haven’t opened it up). The exterior has gigging wear as you can see from the pictures and the power cable is missing the ground prong.”

“Long version: This MonoPoly is fully functional. I have owned it for about 15 years, during which time a number of servicing actions have been implemented. All of the pots and switches have been treated (Caig) and last week the main PSU smoothing capacitors were replaced (see owner’s manual KLM-376-MP, C13/14 etc.). The PSU rails (+/-15V and +5V) have been recalibrated to within the manufacturer’s original tolerance and the ripple per rail has been measured to be <10 mV.

“What can I say? It’s a great machine, especially if you like that clean 80’s sound. It is super capable of whatever wacky modified FM synthesis sound you want if you modify the settings. That’s pretty involved, but I printed out the manual for you so have at it. It does not come with the power cable, you can get one online or use batteries – I used a universal adaptor and it worked fine.

“Vintage Casio CZ-1000 49 key synthesizer. Original owner, bought in 1986; everything works. Has a few lights scuffs/dings on the edges, otherwise, in great condition for its age. Comes with operation manual, synthesis handbook, and original AD-5U Casio adapter. Strap buttons are still functional if you want to be mobile on stage. Has a surprisingly good 8-stage envelope filter, uses phase distortion synthesis, seven different wave forms, has eight voice polyphony but most sounds double up and you are left with four note polyphony, four kinds of vibrato, single LFO, portamento, a setting to go monophonic for the Moog sounds, two oscillators, noise or ring modulation, midi in and out, a port for expansion ram cartridge, and headphone and line outputs.”
