Moog Micromoog

” Moog Micromoog in fairly good condition, but needs a little TLC. Cosmetically the top, sides, and back are in excellent shape for its age, with only some minor dings and scratches, but the bottom is scratched and chipped as shown in the pictures. Functionally, it sounds great, all the keys work, and most functions work properly, except for the frequency knob (no response) (but the master tune works fine), and the ribbon controller (no response; broken on one end). Selling as-is and starting the price low for these issues. Includes an original user manual.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Moog Micromoog

” Moog Micromoog vintage analog monophonic synthesizer, originally manufactured from 1975-1979. Purchased in New Zealand 6 years ago and has had little use since, housed in a smoke-free studio. Its power rating is 115v but has an European plug type, I’m including an adapter to US plug style.

While in good working order and fully functional I’m selling this as is. There are a few notable but repairable issues:
-The particleboard bottom board has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. I assume this is a pretty common issue and see you can buy replacement bottom boards for $40 on Reverb.com.
-The low ‘F’ key is sticking slightly, assuming this is a pretty easy fix.
-There is a missing Oscillator cap.

Also, cosmetically decent but note there are some minor engravings etched into it (see photos).

Had it cleaned up and fixed power supply at Main Drag in Brooklyn in late 2015. ” Click here to search for synths on eBay

Moog Micromoog

” I’m selling my vintage Micromoog that I’ve owned for about 40 years. I’ve used it mostly for left-hand bass and wired in a jack on the bottom to accommodate a Yamaha BP-1 bass pedal unit (13 notes, lower C to one octave up). The keyboard was rebuilt in late 2015 with all new rubber bushings using the proper Dow Corning lubricant. The keyboard action feels like new. The potentiometers and switches were cleaned at the same time. Everything works as expected and the unit sounds great.

Note the following:
1) The ribbon controller has a small tear near the bottom as can be seen in the photos, but it works fine and doesn’t affect the functionality.
2) The white rectangular area to the left of the Moog logo (on the back) is from an adhesive label I had there at one time. I wasn’t able to get it off with a mild adhesive remover, but a stronger one may work.

Included in the sale is the original “preliminary” operation manual from Moog dated July 1975, a Micromoog operation manual by Tom Rhea, some extra rubber keyboard bushings and a like-new Gator case. Will sell and ship to continental US only.”

Moog Micromoog

“Moog synth from late seventies in good condition these were built to last and this one has been well taken care of. This is a monophonic single oscillator synth with sub oscillator, LFO, variable waveshape, control input, audio input, etc. Oh yes and the filter is amazing.”

Moog Micromoog

“I have owned this Moog for 10 years and treated it with love. It has mostly stayed inside my home during that time. I am including a soft Moog case that helps protect it at home, however I would recommend buying a hard case if traveling with it.

It will need to be tuned. Outside of that, it’s in great shape.” Click here to search for synths on eBay
