“Yamaha TG33 Vector Synthesizer. 32-note polyphonic/16-part multitimbral synthesizer that uses AWM and FM waveforms to produce some pretty amazing sounds when paired with the four-quadrant vector synthesis. It may look like an answering machine, but it produces some serious ambient soundscapes. The unit does function, but there are some issues with the output. The headphone output functions fine, the first set of outputs has a bit lower output level and the second set of outputs is even lower. I admit that I really haven’t read the manual, but I did jog through some presets and also pop in some sounds in the four quadrants for some vector synthesis fun, but it really doesn’t fit into my workflow, which is modular based at this point, and I’m not that handy with fixing electronics. It could be used as is, but were I to keep it, I’d want the output levels a bit higher. I’ve seen discussion of this online so it’s a common issue with a number of solutions, but not in my wheelhouse”

“Vintage ARP Odyssey Mk II. Model #2813. This synth is fully functional with a couple of caveats. First, a few of the sliders are a bit sticky. Not terrible, but you feel a little extra resistance when you push them. Second, there are three or four keys where the duophony can get squirrely. Everything plays fine if you’re going mono, but a couple of j-wires are slightly out of whack, causing a little weirdness when you play two notes at once. This synth sounds amazing, plays very well aside from where noted, and looks really good too. There is a blemish on one key, and a small amount of wear and tear, but it’s a really fine example of a black and gold Odyssey. Fresh key bushings as well.”
“Used works fine has a low battery warning when you turn it on so there’s an internal battery that needs to be replaced not sure where it is. “Rare Joy Division sounding Transcendent 2000, not in currently working condition. The unit was in transformation to being made into a rack model from a keyboard, since 3 of the keys do not work.
