Korg Poly 61 Keyboard Synthesizer, 1983 – non-functional, Fair Condition. Condition is For parts or not working.
I have owned this Korg since 1996 and it’s always been kept in its heavy duty case. About 8 to 10 years ago, the voices stopped producing sounds when it was first turned on. At this time, it will sometimes produce some sounds after being powered on for over an hour. I believe there is a capacitor issue, or that the board needs to be tested and re-chipped. It cannot be actively used without maintenance work performed.
As such, I am listing this as Non-Functional and For Parts. Interested buyers would be those looking for a project or scavenging this one for parts.
The joystick in the picture was customized as the original broke some time ago. I still have the original joystick, as seen in photos, and it will be included. Perhaps someone with some 3D printing skills could replicate the original to fully gain use of both axis.
Note; the battery was removed to avoid it leaking and causing corrosion. I will update the photos with a close-up of this area. I do not believe that there is any corrosion, and I removed it as a precaution.
The case is overkill and extremely heavy and probably should not be shipped. The metal trim makes it a bit dangerous, and I think this was a custom tour case built in the early 1980’s. I will gladly ship without this extreme case and just use alternative padding provided by FedEx.

“For sale/auction is a vintage Korg Poly-Ensemble S string synthesizer, produced between 1976-1979. This is a divide down/Paraphonic synth, meaning that every key can be played at the same time, however they all share the same FX/filtering. The Poly-S has a number of voices, from Organ, Brass, Strings, Choirs, with a built-in Phaser FX unit. It’s an incredibly unique, and lush sounding synthesizer. This particular unit seems to be in working condition, it does have some scratch in the volume pot/knob, and the large buttons that select the voices have a bit of scratch to them. A few of the buttons for the voices get temperamental on occasion, but have never stopped working completely. It probably needs a good cleaning. Also, the power light has never worked since I’ve owned it, meaning I purchased it as such around 12 years ago. Also, the ‘male’ end on the power chord is missing some covering, see the photos for what I mean. This hasn’t affected the unit in any way that I can tell. One of the keys on the keybed has a visible crack in it, but was fixed a number of years ago with some super glue, again, see the photos for a better understanding of the condition. Lastly, the case/road case has a lot of wear on it, makes sense given the age of the instrument. Make sure you take all of this into account before bidding/buying. Sold AS-IS. ”

“Please be aware whilst the synth is working it does need some TLC and probably a good service. It has two dead keys in lower register, and needs patches reinstalling, which is apparently straight forward but I haven’t got around to it.
The casing is worn but good. This a bargain for a synth that is only going up in value and often going for £6k plus now! Probably needs about £50-100 spending on it to be in perfect working order.
Serial 2293. It’s a Rev3 with factory MIDI.”

” Ensoniq ASR-10 vintage sampling keyboard – Excellent condition with ASR Operating System disc and around 10 discs with sounds and samples. Not sure exactly how many- I need to get them out of storage.
This keyboard has hardly been used and stored for years in a dust proof case (not included in sale).
Never gigged and never taken out of the house (except to move house twice over the years). Comes from a smoke free home.
It has a couple of small and minor scratches on the metal casing. The screen is in perfect condition- no scratches at all.
Plans to “one day use it again” haven’t come to fruition so time to let this classic go.

“The module is in great condition. Comes with Ribbon cable and screws.
This a great module, either use as 4 independent ADSRs or send a gate to no 1 to trigger all 4 (unless they got their own gate plugged in) control your pitch, volume and filter + something else. Resulting in complex sounds.

Take it out about 10 times.
There is no problem with either of the MIDI sound control.
Fine scratches and paint peeling on the wooden side panel (3rd image), deflection on the front panel (4th image) and cello tape mark (5th image), small chip on the VCO1 switch (6th image), rear panel There are two stickers applied (7th image), but I think there is no problem with the performance.”

“This is your chance to own a part of Moby’s drum machine collection. You don’t need any special analog triggers or CV to use this drum module. Output from any headphone jack will trigger the drum sounds. You can also connect drum pads in to trigger the sounds as it has separate “Pad Inputs” and “Trigger Inputs” for each voice/sound. I bought this from Moby, well, I bought it from his auction but he did own it and he provided a signed certificate of authenticity, included in the sale. The unit is in good physical condition and functions as designed. I’ve had my Roland TR-707, TR-626, and TR-505 main and individual outputs connected directly to the DSM-2 trigger inputs and it sounds great, totally 80’s analog drum sound. This is one of the first drum modules on the market. The knob caps on the back knobs are missing and there are some scratches but hey, maybe it was scratched by Moby!”

“Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer Analog Drum Machine TR909 TR 909 Vintage.
This unit was recently given a complete review by an audio repair shop and everything was found to be working perfectly. No scratchy pots, everything is in perfect working order. This is coming out of my smoke free studio and this is my every day percussion source, so no surprises it’s in perfect working order.
This unit does have a couple of minor nicks if you look at it with a magnifying glass but is easily the best condition of any TR-909 I have come across so far.

I’m also including a Doepfer MSY3 midi-to-dinclock adapter and a 3ft and 10ft midi/din cable so you can just plug and play this into your existing setup!”
