“The K4r was one of my favorite synthesizers in the 90’s. It has a resonant filter, so unlike many of the ROMplers from back then, this synthesizer can make some really cool and aggressive sounds. It can sound a lot like a D50 because of the ability to layer 4 different waveforms, but it is a LOT easier to edit from the front panel, so I tended to use it a lot more. The Basses, Organs, synth pads and percussion samples were all over my trip hop tracks back in the day. In fact, I got the idea to buy this when I saw it in the Sneaker Pimps studio. These days I see Legowelt has one, and though many prefer the K1 because of it’s lower bit rate and use by some of the old warp artists, the filter on the K4 makes it a way better synthesizer all around.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

” I’m the original owner of this unit and it’s mostly been in my studio and it’s in perfect working condition and cosmetically only has very minor rack scratches and the face is in excellent condition. The only noticeable cosmetic condition is when you look at the unit from above, the left side of the front metal is a bit curved. This was actually how the unit was when I bought it new and has never had any functional implications.
I cannot say enough good things about this unit and the small form factor while being able to get Virus sounds. In my opinion, nothing sounds quite like these units and I now have a virus TI unit that I use (the only reason I’m selling it). “This Roland Juno 60 has had a long and productive life. I am selling as is and not working, although it does work as an analog synthesizer, however the presets are not loaded as the memory has gone bad. I was able to reload them using the procedure on the web, but as the battery was no good, the presets eventually were “forgotten” again. I opened the case and replaced the battery, which is for holding these presets in memory – but then decided to sell as I fell into some new keys and no longer needed this absolute juicy beast of an analog synth.
It’s dinged up through the years. At some point electrical tape was applied to the ends and I never removed until I decided to sell, so the ends are a little tacky even after I cleaned it up. You’ll find cosmetic blemishes throughout. Two of the fader sliders are bent down and have no knobs, you can see in the photos. Also, there is some felt missing from one of the 3-stage switches on the face. There are missing case screws on one of the hinges and elsewhere. The ground prong on the power cable was ripped out before a gig once (the show must go on) so that is missing as well.
Other than these telltale signs of a long and happy life, and the missing presets, which I believe can be permanently replaced if the memory issue is fixed with the new battery, this is a functional and lovely sounding Roland Juno 60.” Click here to search for synths on eBay

“This vintage synth looks pretty good for it’s age. It has some typical wear on the sides and edges. There are no major flaws. There are no cracks or chips. All of the keys are perfect. All of the buttons look good. The display looks good. The other controls and sliders and such all look good too. Basically we have a vintage synthesizer that shows normal wear but no major flaws.
The system works perfetcly except that the MEMORY BATTERY HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED, so it will not remember edits or patches unless you change the battery or use a cartridge. All other features and functions work perfectly. All keys respond perfectly and the touch sensitivity on all keys is accurate. The keys are all straight and lined up perfetcly. “This is my original purchase in 1976. I can make you a mp3 or video of it in operation. Comes with the original expression pedal.(Newer expression pedals will not work) This is the classic baby brother of the CS-80. Same sounds less voices. This is a 4 voice. Aftertouch, glissando/portamento switch adjustable time for notes or chords that can slide or gliss to other chords or notes. Very cool implementation. I have not been able to duplicate that in modern equipment.
This is heavy. With the cover on and the legs and accessories which all fit nicely in the cover to make this a brick house suitcase it weighs almost 80lbs.
