“A rare find original synth kit that I purchased from the original owner. Condition is excellent. No corrosion and only minor wear on the cases. It has been tested and works (powers up and emits sound when connected). Included are the original patch cables (not all have been tested). “I really don’t know much about this keyboard, so ask questions before bidding and I’ll try to do my best to answer! You are also welcome to visit and try it out in person! I consider it to be partially to mostly working, I did try a number of the built in sounds and they seem to be working fine but some of the keys produce less sound and sometimes very little to no sound so I think they’ll need some attention. Battery warning comes on when you turn it on so it will need that replaced. I did not test any of the other various memory or other functions, only a basic test. Metal case in good shape, a lot of the lettering on the cabinet is quite worn but in general I’d say it’s in good condition or better cosmetically, no damage or signs of abuse. 2 screws are missing on the front. Comes with a nice fitted soft case, stand, original foot pedal, power cord, USB to MIDI cable and the 2 cartridges (which are untested) pictured, Music Pack and Q Spectrum”

“This Virus B is in good condition and working well. All controls have great feel and respond accurately. All lights and screen fully functional. All ports and jacks in great shape and connect without issue. Sound is strong and clear from all inputs and outputs.
Sale includes the synth with installed rack ears and two power supplies. The original PSU is quite beat up but does work. The other power supply is brand new and was purchased specifically for this synth.
Unit is in overall very good physical condition. It has plenty of scuffs and scratches along the sides but the control panel area is very clean. Please view photos carefully. “Up for auction is a vintage rhythm machine from the 80’s………………the Roland CR-5000. I checked all the functions and they seem to work as intended and I connected it to a mini amplifier and got sound. The condition is pretty good for it’s age and isn’t dented or scratched all up. The whole unit is very clean and doesn’t have any funky smells. This comes with the original owner’s manual and three Roland DP-2 foot pedals. The date on the manual says May 1983. Take a look at all the photos and see if this meets your sound needs. I’m aware that there’s reference to this unit being used on some Blondie records from the 1980’s era………………this was probably a big deal back in it’s day. ”

“I just ran through this drum machine and all works great except I cannot hear the rim sound on any patterns. Knobs are good and output is good.
Physical condition is not great (mainly the metal face lifting from the casing). I did my best with the pics.
Includes the case which does not have a lot of padding, but served well for storing the drum machine.

“Hi, for sale is my Roland SH-101 with modulation grip, original Roland carry bag, original Roland leather strap, and Boss PSA-120 power supply.
I’ve had this synth for about 8 years and it is in clean, fully functional condition. The battery compartment is clean and works with 6 C cells. The bag has some dirt on it that can be seen in the photos. I have the two screws for the mod grip, but the two strap screws on the opposite side will need replacement if you wanna rock this as a keytar. The power switch is new and won’t give you any trouble for years to come.”

“I am the original owner of this Jupiter 8 since I bought it new in 1982. For 4 years, regular road use. Got a few small dents in the top panel by the back. After that, it was only in my studio. In 1994, I added a MIDI retrofit kit, which works great. Eventually, the power switch broke, and I couldn’t find a factory replacement. The Jupiter sat unused for 20 years. Finally, I turned it over to master electronic engineer, synth builder (and actual Rocket Scientist) Dave Hamara, who replaced the power supply and switch with a modern switch with removable cable. He also replaced every single capacitor in the entire unit, replaced the battery, reloaded the factory sounds, and completely calibrated the unit to factory specs. This comes with the MIDI retrofit user guide, and the service manual with calibration specs, as shown.
All synth functions, every knob and button is 100% tested and working perfectly. It breaks my heart to sell this, I’ve had it more than half my life. Please take good care of it, and make cool music. ”

“I am not an expert but I plugged it up into an amp. It worked fine. Wasn’t staticky or anything. The different settings worked. I have the right power cord for it. It is nice functionally as far as I can tell and also nice cosmetically. The only (and very small thing) is the right side of the plastic chassis, if you pull on it it tries to lift up. I’m sure it just needs to be screwed in thats all. When I pick it up to move I pick it up by the middle of the body.
That’s all I know to say about it. I can assure you it will be packed WELL! I know how brutal carriers are. I will pack it well. I have shipped keyboards before I found in estate sales etc., including a Juno 106 and an Ensoniq, both with absolutely no problems. I’ve been packing and shipping a long time and I know how to do it correctly. ”

Roland Jupiter 4. Lots of rust on the panels. Needs to be repainted around the lettering and then clear coated. It powers on but I cannot get any sound out of it so I do not know what else if anything it may need. It needs one slider replaced, the resonance slider. I bought it this way so I cannot tell you more about it. With that said, I am selling it as is with absolutely no returns. I think it would make a great restoration project for someone with the resources to work on vintage synths. ”

This is a great sounding synth and easy to program.
There are a couple of issues;
1. The mode switch is broken but still usable
2. The top c has an intermittent fault.
Everything else works as it should. The inside is clean with no battery leakage.

The unit powers on fine with new power cord, and all led’s and numerical led’s work. All buttons there, and working fine. No other testing done.
The unit has some scratches from rack use and bottom rubber feet missing. *****PLEASE NOTE: The rack brackets will be removed for packing purposes if needed but will be included and screws will be attached to unit to prevent loss.
This is the rack version of the DW 8000, a very influential synth. It can do PHAT mono leads, incredible FM-style bells, decent E-piano and organs and some truly outright weird stuff.
This is a vintage piece of gear manufactured in 1986. It is possible it may require maintenance, replacement of memory battery, cleaning of potentiometers and switches, and replacement of gel capacitors as they can dry out over time and require replacement. This is routine for older electronics, not expensive to do, and comes with the territory. No returns. No refunds. ”
