WORKS GREAT….nothing wrong! I shortened the power cord years ago to save room inside my road rack.

“Vintage Yahama TX7 Digital FM Synth Synthesizer Desktop Module 80s DX7 DX11 DX21. It is in great working condition and cosmetically it is good, aside from a few scuff marks on the bottom of the unit and a small chip on of the sides (see pictures). The module turns on and produces sound when hooked up to a MIDI controller. The LCD screen looks great and is easy to read and all the buttons and outputs work. I couldn’t test the cassette data feature. It’s been in storage in a smoke free home for the past decade and hasn’t seen a lot of use, plus these things are built like tanks, so it should have another few decades of fun left in it.”

“Desktop module form of Yamaha’s DX7 FM synthesizer. Editing must be done externally via MIDI using either a DX7 keyboard or editing software. DX7 patches for the TX7 also can reportedly be downloaded from the internet. Item is used but in very good shape. Power cord attached. No manual.”

“This is a vintage Yamaha TX7 FM Tone Generator/Synthesizer, made in Japan. Unit is in overall good physical condition with scuffs, scratches, marks and tape residue on it.
“The unit powers on, but i have no way to test it beyond that. It seems something has spilled in it like paint thinner or acetone but im not sure as it has been like that before I acquired it.” 
“Cosmetically it is fair/moderate condition (see pictures of actual unit). It’s clean but has some dings. I’m not the original owner, and when it came to me it already had quite a collection of scuffs and scratches. However, the TX7 is built like a tank and these blemishes do not affect it in the slightest. The LCD is clear and easy to read. The sound is as new. The buttons all work fine. The only thing that gives away that this is not a brand new TX7 are the dings in the housing. It’s more than three decades old so it goes with the territory.
