“Vintage DX7 + Flight Case + Accessories

This is a DX7 digital programmable algorithm FM synthesizer in mint condition with all the accoutrements.

It was purchased at Sam Ash, NYC, ~1985 by me. It is fully functional and comes with:

+ the original Operation Manual
+ a dedicated complete guide by Yasuhiko Fukuda
+ a separate Sound Patch Library book with hundreds of additional programmable sounds
+ a Voice Library catalog with accompanying Performance Notes
+ both original sound cartridges
+ a DX-ROM 128-voice third cartridge that I purchased separately
+ a blank cartridge (with some additional loadable voices).
+ Voice data list sheets for recording your own NEW voices
+ Gotcha Covered custom-made dust cover
+ two original equipment cassettes: “DX Performance Demonstration” and “The DX Zone”
+ an original equipment Breath Controller

I can provide additional pictures for lists of patches and everything else!

As you can see in side the device from the photos, nothing as far as the circuitry has been damaged and in fact still powers up and functions. A few of the keys did break where it is held together inside but all of the other damages to this unit are purely cosmetic. “Condition: Keyboard is in VG+ condition for it’s age. May show some minor signs of exterior wear due to age.
Keyboard is fully functional and sounds great. All the keys work and all the buttons work.
2 Minor Flaws:
Back light is out but you can still see the screen fine. That can be replaced.
Minor dent on the back left side of the keyboard. Mostly just a piece of the plastic just got broken off.
It’s been cleaned and tested.

This is a great investment keyboard because it will only up in price if taken care of.

“This DX7 has the E! Upgrade which gives you 10 banks of great sounds. Fully functional but comes with a few quirks. You’ll notice an end is cracked and button #29 has part of the face material missing. A couple buttons take a firm press to switch sounds/perform the function but all do indeed work. The keys feel great – I flipped the springs.
