“Selling for a friend (not on ebay) this excellent 1980s vintage synthesiser in good working order, almost perfect condition and hardly a blemish-do look carefully at the photos, as there is a small bit of damage to the wood effect laminate on the left. Prices for this early model in the series are increasing. With its original box, and with the original manual. “For your consideration is an original, vintage Roland Juno 106 synth. A classic piece from 1984 which is heard on many famous recordings. The sounds it makes are just as relevant today as they were 35 years ago. This item is in original, working but unrestored condition. We are not experts but all the functions we tried seem to work fine. All of the keys are working and have good action. The sounds produced are warm, fat, beautiful, spooky and downright crazy. The cosmetic condition is very good to near excellent. There are some scratches on two of the black keys that you can only see form certain angles. There is also 1 missing slider control as shown. – Juno 106 comes with Roland MSQ-100. This is the preferred sequencer for a Juno 106 and is even matched to go with it! It also allows you to MIDI sync your DIN equipped drum machines.

“This is the real deal. A vintage Juno 106 synth. Heard on countless pop recordings in the last decade as pop producers dove into the thick 80’s synths. All the knobs and sliders are there and all work. The Voice chip 6 needs servicing. It works sometimes then decides not to work other times. Ive seen repair services go for $150 on here. The other note is the very highest key is cracked. Ive included a youtube link to show that everything works as I have described it. I just pulled it from my closet for the first tie in awhile. It seems as if all my presets were deleted. Not sure if thats an internal battery issue or what.”

” Juno 60, in great working condition. Just had one of the 3 position toggle switches replaced along with the internal battery. The internal battery was soldered from the factory, so an optional battery holder was added in place of the original battery to make future battery replacements 100% solder free.

New dust protection for slides and toggles. The toggle and slide switches are somewhat protected by the manufacturer installed foam dust protectors. The problem with the OEM foam is it becomes brittle with age, then falls apart. Replacement dust protectors, made from laser cut black felt, are an upgrade to the original foam type that does eventually fail. Felt material will never need replacing.

Cosmetically, the end caps are in less than stellar condition. The vinyl wood print glued on pressboard has started to detach. This, of course, does not effect the function of the keyboard in any way. My thought was to fabricate a pair of new ends, and replace them both with solid teak or oak. There is no doubt it would be a huge improvement, but it was decided to leave as-is for the purists that might want a completely original keyboard. ”
