It has installed the CHD Elektroservis midi modification with INCLUDED SPECIAL CABLE to use midi with this machine. I had previously listed this machine as missing the cable but I HAVE NOW FOUND IT! YAY!! This unit was serviced 2 years ago when the midi kit was installed but has acquired a few scratchy pots that need a cleaning. Other than that a fully working TR-808 Drum Machine.

“As shown in the picture. There are fine abrasions as shown in the 4th to 7th photos, but there are no cracks or missing knobs.
“Contemplating selling my System 100 or at least gauging interest based on its condition. The synth is far from perfect but has been partially refurbished. It was saved from going to recycling and I did what I could considering my skill-set. The synth functions as it should but the portamento slider is missing. The LFO/Keyboard gate switch is a bit wonky but works, the pulse width mod switch needs replacing and the cutoff frequency slider functions but not perfectly. Missing high C black key and high D is cracked but the whole keybed functions completely. Aesthetically it looks like it went through a war but that kind of added to the allure for me. Those are the bad aspects but they are tons of good also. Some of the knobs are not original and a full new set is available online. IF I sell it I really want to see it go to someone who will continue the refurb and breathe new life into it. I won’t be bummed at all if it doesn’t sell.”

I don’t need to sell it, have owned it since 1983, still works but it’s been sitting in my garage for 20 years and it deserves to be used. Comes with case, but the foam is COMPLETELY shot and will need to be replaced. One key is popped up (no idea how since it was just sitting in the case), one switch is broken. Still seem to work fine. Plugged it in, and played it and is sounds fine.” 
” Roland JD800 in excellent condition. The keybed has been restored/cleaned to remove all traces of “red glue” and the weights re-attached (quite a job!). The visual condition is excellent 9/10 I would say and couple of small marks. All working as it should all bar the aftertouch (which has never really worked on any JD800 I have owned!).”

“This Roland Alpha 1 is in great working condition. All membrane buttons, wheels and switches work as expected. The keys all still play great and have good response. There are some minor scratches (mostly on the bottom) due to being 35 years old but nothing major.
“For sale here is the oft forgotten and thus very affordable, yet extremely rich and lush Alpha Juno 2. I will just say this machine has beautiful analog filters that I love. Vintage Synth Explorer gives it an “Excellent Rating”. This particular synth has very minimal visible wear or noticeable use as you can see in the pictures. It plays beautifully with full functionality. The LCD is very visible (usually means lows hours) and everything functions wonderfully. Included in this package is the Roland PG-300 controller which gives a VCR slider for every parameter in the synth. The PG-300 has a small dent near the logo as visible in the picture and some tape goo from the previous owner. I did want to use a chemical solution in case it damaged the PG-300 to get the goo off – but I’m sure it will come off very easily. Does not affect function at all. ”
