” Vintage, and original Korg MS-20 is good condition. No signs of physical or psychological abuse, no dings or huge dents or bruises to speak of (see pictures). I’ve owned it for a while now, but because of the pandemic there’s not much work out there these days… but the bills keep appearing every month- if you know what I mean… Sadly this MS-20 has been sitting idle for a few months now too…
This is a model intended for the USA market (you don’t need a step up or step down transformer). You don’t have to think about proper power. All of the knobs are present, all keys are good and overall it’s a pretty clean unit given its age. I used it mainly for recording sound effects and experimentation using the pitch to voltage converter, which produces interesting results to say the least! As you know, the LP and HP filters are gnarly! A few of the pots are a little noisy, some of the jacks can be cleaned, but that’s an easy fix. I hope it finds a good home because it’s been a trusty, loyal synthesizer with an abundance of sonic capabilities. “Good condition with some scuffs the paintwork (see pics) and a couple of very small chips here and there (also see pics). No major visual damage and fully working. All buttons work, although a couple need a bit of the main selector buttons need a good press. The screen backlight still works, though it’s not amazingly bright. Not sure whether these ever were. This has been tested with some ROM cards (not included) and all 4 slots work. The flap over the ROM slots is still intact (it often breaks on these machines). The mains lead has been cut to add in an extension (see last pic) and this means it has a longer lead than standard. All round, not mint condition, but a good example.”

“This is a great vintage Korg Poly 800 Analog Synthesizer. Fantastic character and warmth. Has a couple of imperfections. The Pitch bend stick is loose and not positioned properly it may need to be replaced or repaired . Not sure as I have not disassembled it. Also, the display has a dim/ sometime missing digit line. This is photographed. The keyboard still works fine and the pitch bend is not stuck up or down bending it is just mispositioned in its place. A very Versatile Polysynth! . “Hello,
Up for auction is a Korg Poly 61 synthesizer from the early 80’s.
It is being sold as is.
When you turn it on, some of the button’s lights come on, but pressing the buttons doesn’t turn off the lights and the LED patch number doesn’t come on.
Also, no output.
It looks pretty clean though.
Hopefully someone out there can bring it back to life.
