“The Korg X-911 is a vintage analog monosynth that can be controlled by a guitar or any other audio source through a 1/4” jack, no special pickup needed, or by a keyboard or sequencer via CV (Hz/V) and S-Trigger jacks on the back. Has a variety of preset sounds with their own unique filters and controls (Electric Bass, Tuba, Trumpet, Distortion Guitar, Violin and Flute) and a “Synthe” section with various waveforms and octaves to choose from and a juicy voltage controlled filter. Weak solder joints reflowed, all switches, sliders, pots etc cleaned

Modified to accept two Internal 3V coin batteries, rather than the C batteries on the back… wired in parallel, so voltage stays 3V but maximum Ah is increased — this is a significant upgrade because when replacing the batteries, you can change one at a time, so that you NEVER lose your patches when changing batteries unlike how it works with a stock Poly-800 with the C cells (which are connected in series, so when one battery is removed the ENTIRE patch bank is lost)

Comes with hybrid case, mono cable (for dumping patches to tape/flashing synth with patches), power cable, 2 midi cables, ORIGINAL PATCH BANK TAPE (note: the patch bank tape doesn’t seem to carry a strong enough signal to flash the synth with patches. “Offered is a Korg Poly 800 Keyboard Synthesizer made in Japan. Korg built the Poly 800 from about 1983 to 1987, so it’s from sometime then.
This 49-key synth is a great addition for musicians and producers who want to create unique sounds.
The instrument is sold with a Calzone Flight Case that ensures safe transportation. The case is covered in stickers. The case handle, latches, and hinges all work fine.
It comes with a non-original, but proper, power cord.
When plugged in and turns on, nothing happens. Nothing at all. I have done nothing to it. I did open it up. It appears to be unmolested and all there.

This instrument is designed to produce incredible tones and is compatible with a wide range of musical genres. The synthesizer is easy to use and has a variety of features that make it a great choice for professional musicians or hobbyists. The device is in perfect working condition and is in great cosmetic condition as well. This synth is very underestimated. Originally a guitar synth it can be used as an all analog, unique signal process/effects unit. This accepts a normal ¼” jack input no special pickups required. Just plug a guitar, microphone or other instrument into the X-911 and play a note at a time. It supports both CV/Trigger inputs and outputs making it very useful. The front panel is divided into semi-preset traditional sounds called “Instruments” and more exotic sounds labeled “Synthe”. The instrument sounds are Electric Bass, Tuba, Trumpet, Dist. Guitar, Violin and flute. The Synthe sounds are graphical waveforms (Pulse, Ramp, Square). Every voicing has adjustable parameters (filter controls except Violin with has envelope control). This is the fantastic Korg MS2000. A 4 voice virtual analogue synth that sounds like the Microkorg (same synth engine) but with all the pots on the front for instant tweaking.

It’s all too easy to lose hours playing this synth.

It’s in really nice condition ( especially amazing considering its age). If I’m being hyper critical the only negative I can find is some buttons need slightly more of a push (but not much).

Owned from new (about 1984), only occasional use since mid-90s. Worked correctly for many years, except for joystick which had a broken mounting, but still worked if lifted back up. Case has never been opened, mounting pieces are still inside. Just retrieved from storage after several years, and sadly age-related issues evident . The internal battery for program storage is worn out, the edit function for programs and parameters does not work, the LED display and sound production are both intermittent. Working KORG POLY-61 Vintage 1980’s Synthesizer Keyboard

I have had this a long long time, and over the years it has seen more action than Axel Rose.

Over the years I have had hard Red Oak sides put on, as the chipboard that was originally there was just falling to bits as they all do.

I have not used it for over a year, but it is fully functioning. Just needs some switch cleaner in the volume knob as it is a little scratchy when turned. With time and use this should dissipate.

Also, where the modulation/Pitch bend joystick is, the panel does move a bit. It has done this since the sides were replaced but it does not affect playing or using of the joystick. It could use some shorter screws in it I think. Just never bothered with it as it did not detract from its use. Just thought I would mention it as someone may want to fix that.

Other that what I have mentioned , it is working as it should.”

“Here’s a well-used and somewhat damaged Korg M1. It still plays those wonderful sounds! Famous for keyboard sounds used in the 90s, including on Madonna’s Vogue (per Wikipedia). Check out the condition description for details. Should have never loaned this to my son’s band years ago.

The M1 features a 61-note velocity- and aftertouch-sensitive keyboard, 16-note polyphony, a joystick for pitch-bend and modulation control, an eight-track MIDI sequencer, separate LFOs for vibrato and filter modulation, and ADSR envelopes.
