“Here is a Vintage CASIO AZ-1 KEYTAR Portable Keyboard. This is in
Very Good Condition. It shows minimal signs of age and/or use. There are
no obvious signs of damage, misuse or poor storage. There is nothing “loose”
sounding inside and it has no signs of being dropped. The Battery Compartment
shows no history of corrosion but we could not get this to Power On with
batteries. We do not have a power cord but the batteries didn’t generate
a response. All of the Buttons feel very good. There is a little ‘dirt’ on the
handle portion, which we think is foam from the case. We’ve made no attempt
to clean it. This is being offered for Parts, Repair or Restoration. This comes

“This is an ORIGINAL RK-100 Korg key tar from the 80s. Low serial number (8255). It is a one-of-a-kind item and I am very sad to see it go. Local pick-up is preferred as this is a gentle item.
Requires one 9V battery (not included). The battery casing is intact and not damaged. This was a gift from long ago so there is no AC power unit.
Body is wood with sleek black veneer. The keys are not velocity sensitive (by design).
It is fully functional, with all the original parts, and there are no broken or loose keys.

“Unit is untested and sold as-is, for parts or repair, no returns. There’s a piece of black tape over the volume knob. Also black tape covers the Yamaha logo on back. There is a battery cover, but no battery tray. I plugged in a 9V battery to the battery tray connector and got no response from the unit. All keys / buttons have good response. Controls tested and working – Lightly Used
I am the original owner of this instrument. I purchased this new in 2010. I put maybe 4 to 6 hours of total play and only in my home (it’s part of a large instrument collection). The keys, body, neck and all areas have only very light marks from play. I would call this a very nice near mint to near mint plus.
