” Up for sale is my Oberheim Matrix-6. This synth is in great condition. All keys play as they should, velocity and after touch function properly. The membrane keys all work as well as all sliders. I’ve recently cleaned the key bed and contacts to ensure it plays with the expression it was made to. It does have some minor wear and tear, but nothing beyond what you’d expect from an almost 40 year old synth. It also has custom wood side panels to give it a unique look. A rare and vintage PolyMoog Keyboard 280A from around 1978.
It features the incredible ‘Vox Humana’ and other presets as used by Foxx, Numan, Lewie Etc.
It is extremely clean, there’s no dust or grime anywhere.
All keys work, there are no thumps, bumps or crackles.
All presets work as they should and all sliders and controls are fine.
It plays well, the velocity sensitive, weighted keys are all OK.
Due to careful use, regular cleaning and routine servicing, it actually transports very well and I’ve never had any problems with moving it around.
