“I replaced the side panel. Its not stock. All the original clips are put back, but some screws are not original. It plays really nice. Once you get used to the slider, its easy to use the value lever to program, and in performance on the filter , envelopes etc.
You have alot of performace control with the live buttons on the panel , chord memory, hold, 9 different arpegiator positions, either latched or unlatched, live speed control. the joystick is and XY postions so you can blend the pitch bend with the filter, or vibrato modulation. The pitchbend goes up to an oct up and down, and has a live knob control that amount, and another knob to control the frequency speed amount.

This synth really is a monster, and it does some unique sounds when you push the edge of some of the controls, like good analog synths do.
It takes a minute for the osc to stablize, which is normal for the poly 61m till it warms up. But it tunes itself”
