I have owned this one for roughly 1 year or so, I acquired it from Switched On In Austin Texas.
Switched on fully serviced it before I purchased it and everything works good. I used it in my studio off and on but
I don’t feel I use it enough to hang onto it so I am selling it to raise money to purchase other gear for my studio.

to me the filter on this moog is WONDERFUL

picture seven show the filter selector it only seams to do anything when on TONE ?
you may know more than me …everything else works
paper work included from previous owners repairs he had done to the moog
original moog schematics booklet
i only used the output jack not tried the other jacks
the moog needs a good home
the side panels have been sanded down (not by me) the pervious owner
i used the synth for sound effects i am not a keyboard player

It is really warm and has some excellent sounds. The keyboard has been stored in a professional studio for over 13 years and is in really great condition. “Moog Micromoog Vintage Monophonic Analog Synthesizer . Condition is Used.

This is a very old analog synth. Original MicroMoog from the late 70s. I bought it from a guy that was getting rid of old stufio equpiment. I really thought I was going to use it, but decided to go ahead and sell it.

This is my first pure analog keyboard so I don’t know enough to test all of its functions. But it does power on and makes sound. All keys play, but some of them cut off intermittently. I don’t know why but I just wanted to make sure that I give the info that I do have. The knobs feel good. and turn and do modify the sound…. but again, I am so not know how to test all the functions. Because of the age and temperament of the instrument, I am listing it as a for parts auction.

The unit does work but since I can say 100% that everything is perfect, I want to list it like this. ”

The Los Anglees Synthmasters at Rosen Sound restored this beast including key bushings, action, pot cleaning, switched CV to the standard 1v per octave, and s-trig gate jack to 1/4″. This upgrade connects a Micro to other equipment (they were made with .9v/8vo CV).

Also included is a Doepfer MCV4 companion with an AC adapter which hooks up to play/ sequence from MIDI including Mod Wheel and Aftertouch to the filter cutoff! You will need three 1/4″ Y cables to connect it. A perfect combo!

Here we have a vintage analog Synthesizer in the monophonic Moog Micromoog. The unit turns on, but has not been tested for audio. Cosmetically, the unit is more than solid for a Synthesizer of this age. I have a hunch that some service may be required, though minor. You may well luck out also, as everything may ultimately function perfectly. Either way, this is a win-win, as well as a good opportunity to own a much revered piece of Synthesizer history, only customary of Moog products.”

“For sale is a late 70s Moog Micromoog, fully functional. This unit was serviced last year with a rebuilt PSU, recap and a couple other bugs fixed. It is in excellent physical condition for its age; the only thing to note is the bottom particle board slab was replaced with plywood as the former was crumbling apart. The keys feel pretty good for the most part, though the new owner may want to change the bushings. The keys all work, though again, this is a vintage Pratt-Read style J-wire keyboard so I suggest the buyer reads up on maintaining a clean buss bar when keys will inevitably lose contact, which is an issue for nearly all vintage synths from this era. ”

“I’ve owned this MicroMoog for around 37 years. Have spent around £500 refurbishing the Moog (via a professional synthesizer service company) in the last 6 months so it is in great working order. It’s in really good condition for its age in terms of appearance too. There is a huge sound palette available though with all sorts of sounds and textures. It is a monophonic synthesizer, featuring 1 variable waveshape voltage-controlled oscillator. It has a -24 dB per octave low-pass filter with envelope generator, a voltage-controlled amplifier, noise generator, sample and hold circuit, low-frequency oscillator, and modulation routing. It has a 32-note keyboard and was one of the first synthesizers to include a built-in ribbon controller, in this instance for pitch bending. The Micromoog has an audio input allowing external audio to be run through the filter and VCA.
