Yamaha DX7 Project Machine

“Yamaha DX7 Classic / Mark1 Digital Programmable Algorithm Synthesizer Keyboard – 61 Keys – New Battery – With Unitec 3073 Case, 2 Bespeco Keyboard Stand Arms, And A Light – Light Has A Velcro-Like Stuff To Hold It Onto The Synth – Light Has Been Tested And Works – Sadly This dx7 Has A Corrupted Memory Issue Which Should Be An Easy Fix By Just Inserting A Rom Cartridge – Bought At An Auction And Needed A Battery. When I Put The New One In, The Display Would Show Jumbled Up Letters And Numbers And Would Only Make Slight, Incorrect Sounds On Some Modes In The Sound Bank. I Have Never Tried Putting A Sound Card In The Machine To Test It But From What I’ve Read All It Needs Is A Rom Cartridge. Since I Cannot Hear The Sounds Very Well I Have Not Been Able To Test All Functions – There Is One Sound In The Bank (Number 30) That Makes A Sound When I’m Not Pressing A Key. All 61 Keys Stop This Sound So This Indicates That The Keyboard Is Sensing That The Keys Are Being Played Which Should Mean They All Work – This Sound Has Also Enabled Me To Test Volume, Pitch Bend, Headphone / Amp Jack, And Modulation All Of Which Work Fine – Because Of The Lack Of Fully Testing This Item Is Sold Without Returns Or Refunds – All Keys Feel Fine, None Are Sticky Or Hard To Play – My Camera’s Flash Makes This Keyboard Look Kind Of Brown But It’s Actually Just Black -Inside Of Synth Looks Very Clean – If You Want To See Photos Of The Inside Let Me Know But eBay Won’t Let Me Upload Any More Photos – Thanks For Looking – Local Pickup If You Live Near 24055 – Look At Pictures For Condition” Click here to visit listing on eBay
