“A classic Yamaha CS 15 analog synthesiser for sale. Circa 1980.
This was originally a Japanese unit, however a new internal transformer was fitted to convert it to a UK voltage.
At the same time the flying lead was removed and replaced with a much more convenient standard IEC plug.
This synth is in great condition as you can see from the photos and it sounds fantastic.
Just have a listen to some of the demos on youtube, the filters are amazing and smooth.
Also included is a like-new Kenton USB solo, which can provide MIDI over USB, to GATE+CV to control this synth.
I will also include the jack cables I made to connect the two.
The only issues I can think of is there are a few little marks at the top of the front pannel and a couple of the knobs are a tiny bit scratchy when turning them (a clean would sort them out), but given its age thats fairly remarkable.
Has been stored indoors as part of my synth collection in a smoke free studio”
