“I bought this Pro 1 brand new from Rod Argents Keyboards, Denmark Street, London, back in August 1982. It was the first synth I ever bought and my favourite too. It has never been gigged, but did spend a few years up my loft. However, for the past 8+ years it has been in my spare bedroom, mainly sitting on a stand doing nothing. I was hoping to get back into my music, but nothing has really happened, so I thought rather than let it gather any more dust, I may as well sell it and let someone else enjoy it. The original manual is still present. PLEASE NOTE Pick Up Only, this will give you the chance to test the machine before taking it and prevent damage in transit.
Needs a service, as the lower F key does not work and some of the pots/knobs could do with a clean-up. Also, small break in top of panel edge (see photo), but nothing major. Additionally, the side panels have been covered in white sticky-backed plastic, which is a little untidy in places. This could possibly be removed and the original wood re-instated, with a bit of time and effort.”
