Roland Juno-6 Analog Keyboard Synthesizer.
Here is my beloved Roland Juno-6. I believe it is working as it should. It sounds great and is incredibly fun to play.
I’ve gone through each fader, knob, and button and everything seems to function as intended. The volume control was a bit noisy so I deox’ed it and it’s nice and quiet now. The only service I’ve ever done was to replace the VCA switch after accidentally snapping the original off. I got a perfect replacement through Syntaur. Aside from that, everything else is original.
It should be noted that this unit is about 40 years old. I had this in storage for nearly 7 years. There is a very real possibility that some service may be in its future. If this were new to me, I would replace some of the caps in the power supply as preventative maintenance.
It should also be noted that the Chorus circuit in this keyboard is known for being a bit noisy. It makes a bit of a whooshing sound when engaged.
