“This unit never left the studio. 2 issues: 1) the right end cap mounting screws were broken in shipping when I originally bought the synth from Dave Way. The end cap itself is NOT broken on the outside…just the plastic mounting screws internally broke. 2) This unit has several sticky keys and contacts that are not working. It will require a new contact strip and the sticky keys that will not depress be fixed. Apparently this is an issue with JD-800s. The “brain” works perfectly… the keyboard & contacts need service.
