” Up for sale is my vintage Roland JX-3P analog polyphonic synthesizer. It’s extremely clean and in very good cosmetic condition. I’ve owned it for about five years now. The synth is also fully functional. I just had it serviced by a reputable synth tech here in Phoenix, and the following work was done:
“VINTAGE MOOG REALISTIC SYNTHESIZER CONCERTMATE MG 1 Keyboard With a Case & extra Parts. The switches on the red bubble wrap were removed from the keyboard. It had parts replaced about 8 years ago. It’s been in storage. The other parts look new in bags. The extra knobs and manual are included. It’s a printed manual in a binder. The keyboard was really used by the band Dead Vampires and it was on some early Spits stuff. They used The keyboardist for fun. It’s had a great life. ”

Everything is fully functional, and in excellent cosmetic condition. All the knobs and sliders are intact and original. I had a technician install a new potentiometer on the Unison Detune knob, and that knob is a little stiff because it is new. The other knobs are very easy to rotate. There are some minor scratches on the side panels, but overall in great shape. “

“Synth is cosmetically in great overall condition but has recently stopped working, it still lights up but I’m getting no sound and the display lights up but is now blank – I’m not sure why. I don’t have the original power adapter, but I have been using a standard 9V adapter which has worked fine for years – this is not included as I still need it. One of the knobs is missing on he portamento but can still be used without it or could be changed with one of the other knobs if needed. The LED next to the display screen has gone inside the unit but should be easily popped back through once the synth is opened up”

“1983 KORG Poly-61 Poly61 Vintage Analog Synthesizer For Parts or Repair
“First, it should be clear that this is a USED, VINTAGE synthesizer/keyboard. This is from the estate of a jazz player who used this for several years. It shows signs of wear and use, and while it has been tested out extensively by another jazz player, we cannot be certain that every combination of options have been tried and tested… a really great musical tool, but it is what it is!!! The only noted minor issue is that the Bb3 key is slightly bent to one side and occasionally sticks a little. I don’t expect that this is hard to adjust, but I am not a keyboard technician, and if I paid one the price might go too high. I tried to document everything, so PLEASE check out the pictures.” 
“Original KORG MS-20 mfg. between 1978 and 1983. Made in Japan. Being sold as “parts not working” because there are some scratchy pots and I am not a good enough synthesis person to accurately test how this is supposed to sound. Here’s what I know: It powers up and when I open up the filters all the way it seems to sound like it should. Here is what I have been able to test as best I can and feel confident listing: All keys working with no sticky keys. Both VCOs work (waveform select, tuning, octave, mix) seem to work as should. Filters (1 high pass and 1 low pass) with peak (resonance) also seem to work as should. All the Envelope Generator stages seem to control ADSR as they should and the modulation generator (LFO) seems to work as should. Portamento too. What I am not sure about is the modulation wheel. When I patch out of the Mod Wheel CV out jack I can get it to work on by patching into one of the VCO in jacks changing the pitch of one of the VCOs (not sure which one) and it only bends up. I am not sure what the button below the mod wheel does and don’t know how to test it. Again, the main reason sold as parts-not-working is the scratchy pots issue and I am not sure how to program and really test all the patch points to know if it is working 100% properly. Please make sure you are OK with that before bidding. Feel free to ask questions and if there is something you want me to test I will be happy to do so and report back. A bit history on this… I purchased it in late 1993 and it has sat in my smoke-free office unused since. So it essentially not been powered up for the last 25 years. So in spite of the scratchy pots, is is a low-hours item. Since sold as Parts-Not Working there are no returns, no inspection periods. ”

“It is a compact polyphonic synthesizer with looks reminiscent of Prophet. It was launched in the mid 1980’s, with MIDI installed while manufacturing in this age, patch memory 64 sounds, 8 voice specifications. With a flat design with almost no knobs etc. after DX 7, there is a white board in the center of the body, you can write notes such as patches. It is now difficult to edit sounds, but the sound is an analog sound like SCI.
