This Chroma Polaris II powers on, but it locks up.
I’m selling this As-Is, and Non-Functioning, despite this, because I cannot guarantee it will power on after shipping. It has some oxidation present on the chassis and part of the main board. See the numerous pictures for details.
This is a great project synth for someone who has the time and access to a synth tech to repair it. In fact, I already replaced the old membrane panel with a brand new membrane panel replacement (a $225 value) to get you started.
It is mostly parts complete, only missing a few parts:
7 keys have broken tabs
9 slider caps are missing
1 CEM3372 chip (voice 6) needs replacement
new EPROM chips are needed
8 new RAM chips are needed

It includes everything else including the rare HS3140 DAC chip, all CEM3374 chips, 5 CEM3372 chips, PSU board (functional), Input/Output board, left & right control panel boards, pitch bend box, and an extra right control board (which is missing 1 LED and has a broken slider), and the main board. The main board has some corrosion near the RAM chips and EPROMs.
