“Up for sale is a highly modded and amazingly cool Sequential Circuits Pro One.
This synth is modded. Keyboard is an entirely rebuilt J wire keyed… not the horrible membrane version. The serial of this synth lands in the membrane keybed version but a J wire keyed was overhauled and installed. It plays and tracks extremely well. No double triggers or mis-triggers. It also has an aftertouch strip put in. The key dip is just a tiny little bit less, and there is a pic showing that. The keys goes down a little more when you activate the aftertouch. Very light and quick action. The aftertouch controls many things. Pitch up and down, modulation, LFO, Filter, etc…Very flexible variations. Also there are two pots inside the synth for gain functions for the aftertouch if needed. There is an additional LFO pot added , and there is duel portamento pots for the two VCO’s . Very effective on glides rather than the stock single portamento . Also a momentary jack in the back for on/ off portamento. Again a very effective performance feature. Tested , and everything works as should. In tune and calibrated. Ground loop issue corrected, which was common for these keyboards. Condition is good. There are a few marks on plastic and some marks on the keys. But its all minor… jut=st stating for full discloure on this ad. The only thing to note is that the Master Tune pot shaft has the tip broken off. You can still easily use / adjust it. With all the mods completed, this takes the Pro One to a whole new level. Ive created some very wicked efx, basses, leads that simply cant be done on a regular pro one. GREAT synth, great condition, great price. ”

“This unit is used, but it is fully functional and has been recently serviced, has new battery for the memories which will provide years of trouble-free service. The power supply capacitors have also been replaced to ensure quiet operation.
I’m selling this unit as is – it is a used instrument, but has been well cared for in my home studio.The side wood panels have a few character scratches and dings as seen in the photos. The unit otherwise is spotless with all knobs, buttons, keys and pitch and glide wheels trouble-free.
The unit is also shipped with USB flash drive with many documents, factory patches, schematics etc included.

“A nice condition Prophet 600 with the Gligli mod. This synth is sooo warm compared to modern synths. Just had it tuned up by The sequential guy here in the Bay Area. The Gligli mod changes up a few of the functions some of the knobs do so make sure to download the Gligli manual to know what your twisting. As with all vintage analog synths, let her warm up for at least 5 minutes to let the oscillators tune. With the new keybed it plays and feels like a brand new modern synth.

I never fixed that since it didnt bother me because I was triggering the drums through MPC or other sequencers and then everything working smoothly.

I’ve gone through all the keys and knobs. Everything works great. Certain numbers on number pad can get stuck occasionally but after tapping once or twice they go back to working fine. The output sounds great, and the midi works. Sequencer and arp are working too! ”

“Works great, just have to make sure to use the high output jack or else you can’t really hear it. While some synths have low and high outputs they usually aren’t very different from one another. This one really has a low output if you use the low output jack, they weren’t kidding around when they labeled it. I have no idea what the input jack is for, I’ve never used it and I don’t use pedals with my synths so I’ve never tested the footswitch jack or the volume pedal (this has a strange jack for the volume pedal. Looks similar to the output jacks you find on Soviet made guitars and basses). It’s got some wear on it that’s visible in the photos, but that’s to be expected with a 30+ year old instrument. Some of the switches are slightly bent as you can see in the pictures, a couple of the switch tips are missing, and it sounds like some of them could use some compressed air, but they all function perfectly well.
It’s output only goes to one channel, it sends a mono signal (it’s a polyphonic synthesizer though) so you can’t use headphones with this one. You’re going to have to play it through an amp.”
