“This has just been serviced and is fully working, all of the front panel tact switches (yes, all 48 of them) have been replaced with brand new switches (these tend to fail after 20 years or so and require a much harder push to work, or they get to the point where they don’t work at all) Also, all of the key contacts have been cleaned so that the velocity and aftertouch are working as they should, and the backup battery has been replaced too. It also has had a stunning new OLED white on black display fitted which looks glorious compared to the original dim LCD display. The upgraded OLED display cost me £50 plus fitting. “The piano powers on and the lcd does display functions. Nevertheless, the lcd seems a little faded towards the bottom. I tried to take a good picture.
Also there is no sound and I am not sure why, i believe you need headphones or an amplifier which I don’t have so I can’t really test it. I picked up this piano at a yard sale and hoped that it would work perfectly but unfortunately it did not. I’m notan expert in electronic stuff. All the keys are there with no damage.
