“This is Korg MS2000 Analog Modeling Synthesizer. It turns on and loads up, but does not produce sound. After doing some troubleshooting, it says there’s an MPUtoDSP error. I tried swapping out the DSP, but my soldering skills are not up to the task. I’m guessing you could either try resoldering the new chip I used or try it fresh with another Freescale DSP56362.” 
“It is a so-called guitar synthesizer. Roland is generally famous for guitar and synthesizer, but KORG also announced a compact model with less malfunction. Not limited to guitar, any instrument can be used as a source as long as it is a musical instrument that produces sound with a single note. You can mix several kinds of presets, or you can control the harmonic overtones like an organ’s drawbar to obtain a sound that can not be obtained with an effector.

“This is the 200 note pad Linnstrument midi controller. It comes with the gig bag and the letter signed by Rodger Linn. This is the latest version, which has the sequencer labels in the upper right hand corner. Earlier versions do not have this. This unit was purchased last December and I’m not using it enough to justify keeping it. It is everything you could want in a matrix style midi controller. Very programmable and the firmware is always being kept up to date. It’s a real attention getter at gigs. It does not come with a wall adapter but I always used it via USB, so power was not problem.”
