“Here’s my wonderful Yamaha TX81z rack mount FM synth. This works as intended. The backlight is a little dim (especially with photo lights on it) but it is certainly visible – it really doesn’t photo well.
These things are fun to use and sound great. I learned to program FM with this thing. I love it. I just don’t use it much anymore and I need the space.
Please be aware that is is getting old and it may need service. It seems to be working great right now but it has also sat in storage for the past 7 years.”
