“Yamaha SY77 Synth/Workstation , if you are looking you probably no more about it than me. I bought this from Facebook market place without being able to test but told it all worked. It doesn’t….. so here are the good and bad points that I can tell
Bad or not so good:
Not all the buttons work when pressed
The disk drive doesnt make any noise or light up
Few of the sounds are available are not as you would expect, i.e piano sounds like a drone, but drum sounds work ok.
On some voices / sounds the screen shows random text, Im not sure why.
Good:
It turns on and boots up fine.
It makes some sounds.
The data dial and sliders all seem to work.
Some of the push buttons work.
The outside of the keyboard is pretty good and all a few small age related marks.
The keyboard action on all keys seem fine. “ Click here to search for synths on eBay
