“Thanks for looking! Up for auction here is a well used Yamaha DX7. This unit plays and sounds great, and looks like it has seen decades of gigs. It has numerous scrapes and other cosmetic damage. One of the plastic corners is cracked, but has been repaired internally with layered epoxy and fiberglass. The photos show anything significant in the way of exterior flaws. If you value an actual relic finish, this one has it! 😁
You’ll also notice several Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) decals. I’ve attempted to contact the band’s management to see if they might have owned it at some point. Still waiting for a response. Obviously, they could have just been placed there by a fan who bought a DX7.

When the keyboard arrived at my repair shop, it had the same problem as they all do. It needed a new RAM battery and to have its voices reloaded. That’s it. I installed a new battery and socket for easy future replacements. A RAM cartridge containing the original Master group voices is included, just in case you ever need to reload them.
This unit is very clean inside. All I did was blow it out with compressed air. Please look at the photos of the innards.
This DX7 will serve you well, probably for decades to come.
