Sequential Circuits Six-trak analogue synthesiser. All fully functional and works fine. A couple of the numeric keypads need a firmer press and sometimes the 0 keypad will double enter(probably needs a clean), although it has been getting better with use (Synth has not been used for a while, hence clearout). All voices work fine(six of them), sequencer works fine and is great fun, arpeggiator is also fine, pitch bend and mod wheel also fine. NB the power cable had to be replaced and I did not have a rubber holder to secure it to the synth, so it is secured via tape.
There are some marks on the front panel consistent with age(see pics), but nothing to really detract from its good looks. Wood side panels are in nice shape I’ve entered a buy it now price to reflect these small things such as marks and the power cable (mentioned above).
Really nice sounding poly synth that can also be 6 multi timbral synths in one and also has a unison mode that allows for you to stack different presets on top of each other for immense room shaking sounds. It really does have a beautiful sound to it and is full of really nice presets at the moment.
The Tauntek ROM allows for quick and easy selection of the presets via the rotary dial, without the Tauntek upgrade you had to key in each preset number which soon becomes a PITA, so the Tauntek upgrade is a must.
