“Very rare sequencer , only 500 were made. For use with the Prophet 5 synthesizer that has been fitted with the digital and analog ports ( rev. 3.2 or 3.3 ) the sequencer uses the digital port only. Recording can be in real time or step time. Real time is extremely straightforward , but step time needs a bit of thought before programming , the manual is a good help in this regard and is available as a free online download. The unit plays and records well , although i am not sure about recording onto the cassette . The cassette deck works and plays the tape, but i have never tried recording onto it ( a mini data cassette is included ) I am assuming that it may well work , but do not buy if this is important to you as i cannot guarantee this ( it is not important to me , as simple sequences only take a few seconds to load in ) The cosmetic condition is very good . The black paintwork has been touched up in one or two places , but on the whole is fine. The 6 screws on the casing would look better with new replacements ( for a few pence ) The wooden end cheeks could do with re-staining or replacing , one has a bit of damage to the wood finish.
