“Rather rare, and as you know, very desired, Vintage Roland TR-808 – from 1982, in very good condition.
As you can see from the photos: missing a couple jack pieces on the back (a couple dollars at radio shack) – but all the outputs still work, in my testing. You can see the red #3 button is a little wonky, but is still functioning at 99%. Set for North American voltage (117VAC 50/60 Hz 8W) serial number : 062472
In my testing : all sounds/knobs/switches/outputs/functions/tuning/decay/level/tempo ETC are working 100%
The unit IS NOT in perfect cosmetic condition, but in very good condition for its 37 years of age. I purchased this machine several years ago, (not the Origional owner) it has always been stored in a smoke free studio, and the unit is sold AS IS. Unit is sold alone, with attached grounded AC cord, no manual – but at this time I see and hear it working fine. I hate to need to sell it, never sounds as good as when you are about to let it go, so much ANALOGUE variation”
