“Roland System 100m Vintage Analogue Modular Synthesiser.Kenton Pro 2 MIDI to CV converter. Condition is used.
From 1979, this is a beast of a synthesiser. I’mselling it because I’m no longer in an electropop band so don’t use itanymore.
All tested and works as expected.
I mostly used it for phat bass with the two oscillatorsand two filters. It’s great having two filters because onefilter could be used to add sub bass with low cutoff and high Q, then theother filter could be used for squelch. The ring modulator is goodfor crazy vocal effects – obviously being modular, any sound can be input.
Module 112: Two VCOs with oscillator sync
Module 121: Two VCFs. Phat sounding low passfilters.
Module 130: Two VCAs.
Module 140: Two ENVs and an LFO.
Module 150: Ring modulator. White noisegenerator. Pink noise generator. Sample and hold.
All in the standard housing providing power to the modulesand also a patch bay at the bottom with parallels.
The synth is all MIDI controllable through the KentonPro 2 that has multiple aux outputs to control most synth parameters, e.g.cutoff. It can be made velocity sensitive using the auxes too.
